      I purchased a Napoleon Electric fireplace NEFL50CHD-1. I specifically sought out a unit with thermostatically controlled heat so we could heat a 400 sq ft area of our house automatically to a set temperature. Well the thermostat is extremely inaccurate and doesn't come close to the set temperature.The company did replace the unit under warranty but the replacement model is no different. It is a design flaw pure and simple. Put the temperature sensor on the outside where it can properly sense ambient air temperature! Poor engineering. Now i'm stuck with a $1300 fireplace that is practically useless to me. Calvin Charles Dugald,MB

      Bought a Prestige 500 RSIBSS, Serial# 289361 about 4 years ago, Have a warranty claim they have not responded to now for 2 weeks, they say 5-7 days. Call the number a no one answers tried for 5 days three of 4 time a day no answer. Claim # 02040001 . I was thinking about buying 2 more grills based upon past warranty claim being so good. But I am thinking about just Buying a competitors product now. Warranty useless if no one is home there.

      Bought a $900 grill. The side burner igniter doesn't even work. Grill flair up terribly. I've had $200 grills that were better. Customer service is a joke.

      Purchased a $4,000 gas fireplace insert IR3N-1. Worked ok for about 2 months then began to work intermittently. Hasn’t worked at all for past several years and will either not light at all or open gas valve fully and dump massive amounts of gas into fireplace. Dealer is of absolutely no assistance nor is the manufacturer. I’m unable to recommend purchase of any product produced by this company and might suggest an import product would far exceed the quality levels of components contained within this insert. For example, the battery holder is just cheap thin plastic in which the batteries are taped into position with masking tape.

      Lifetime warranty apparently does not apply to drip tray that has rotted through on 8 year old BBQ . Bought this because of warranty, have kept indoors and well cared for. I guess this is buyer beware.
