Hired this company (owner ***** ******) to install floors in one of our building on property. He scammed us out of $30,000. We immediately had issues with the flooring. We hired an independent inspector who determined improper installation. He even put the floors directly over carpet. ***** the owner attempted to charge us another $20,000 to fix the issue, refused to stand behind his work, or even to help us share the costs of hiring another company to re do the floors. He eventually ghosted us and we had to pay for another company to completely redo the entire job. He has many many reviews and complaints where he did this same thing to people. He needs to face consequences for his business practices.

Last summer, my husband and I purchased some property in Rogers, KY to build a weekend getaway. We found a floor plan that we liked and contacted LCI to complete the construction. The owner of the company said that he could do it and that he would have it completed in 6 weeks. We were only asking for the exterior of the home be completed. We would take care of the plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, flooring, etc. More than a year later, the house is not complete. In June, we noticed that the foundation of the home was not level. The owner of LCI assured us that he would address the issue. He made multiple claims about people he contacted and gave us different excuses when no one showed up to correct the problem. After months of waiting, we contacted a structural engineer to inspect the home. The engineer gave us a long list of issues and even suggested that we take the house down and start over. It's been almost a month since we last heard from the builder. In his last message, he, once again, gave us the name of someone that he had contacted to address the foundation issue. He claimed that they needed our permission to come out and give an estimate. My husband said that he could have them call him and he would give permission. We have heard nothing but silence since then.

On December 24th 2 pipes busted in our home during a freeze. LCI Construction came out and made an estimate to make the repairs. This was sent to the Farm Bureau and they accepted the claim and $165000.00 was paid out to LCI Construction for the work during multiple payouts. I moved into a hotel and LCI started the work. After about 3 months of work I started noticing work was slowing down in my house. I ended up moving back into my house in May and since then LCI has only done 1.5 days work in my home. My home has flooded 3 times since I moved back in due to plumbing not being connected and us being told showers are ready to be used. I spoke to ***** ******, the owner, and he told me he spent all the money from the insurance and is now taking other jobs to try to finish my job. My home has problems in almost everyroom, missing flooring, missing vanities, missing faucets, drywall cuts and openings an many ceilings and rooms to add plumbing to a master bedroom that is still not useable. He left a huge amount of trash on my driveway and a lot of tools all over my home. My new master bed/bath he was installing has no flooring, walls are crooked, plumbing pipes coming out of the open floor. I asked why he did not tell me anything and he said I spent too much money. I never spent a dime, I gave him tile pictures with prices along with anything he told me to pick out. He ordered everything with his measurements and he paid the bills. Now he cancelled 2 times our arrangements to meet in person to work it out. I have asked for all the receipts so I can see where the money went and he has given me nothing. Also in his contract, it states that he would get permits for the work and I went to Lawrenceburg and no permits were pulled. He says if he got permits his employees would have to be licensed. I thought I hired a licensed contractor that would honor his contract and I can't get anywhere with contacting him and my home is still messed up.

I contracted with LCI to build a screen porch on top of our existing deck. The deposit was paid on or around 4/15/22. At the moment we still have an uncompleted project with a leaking roof and inability to get return phone call from the contractor. The process was horrible. After the initial workers came and built everything incorrectly, Chris sat on the project for months. Phone calls and text would not be returned. Before we went silent, he asked for 1/2 of the remaining money. Which I did. Then for months there was no activity and a text would be returned weeks after it was sent with the reply of next week we will be there. During the construction they left nails in the drive way (1 flat tire on our vehicle), the yard. The original workers' work had to be taken down and redone by another 2 workers. Their comment was we had to do this on the last project as well. Finally we got most of the issues address but there was still the sticking door that would not open and the leaking roof. I sent pictures Oct 25th of the leak continuing and his response was "Be there tomorrow". He has not returned the call/shown up. Continues to leak. If I still owed him I would just move on. He showed up the same day he said the roof was fixed with a large man, who was clearly the muscle meant to intimidate me. He felt I owed him full price. Despite long over do semi-completion of the project. When I objected it was clear the muscle man was there to scare me and imply bodily harm. He may or may not have been carrying a gun. His posture was one meant to but project there might be something under his shirt while also being able to claim that wasn't true. So out of fear for my safety and my family. Wife and 2 kids, I paid him. But at least I wasn't assaulted or worse by my contractor. I would normally ask for completion of the project but I fear for my safety if he returns therefore I request adjustment so I can hire another company, plus they haven't fixed it yet.
