    My mom and I enjoyed lunch there on Monday, July 22, 2024; she likes the food and wait staff there and eats there frequently with a friend. So, for Christmas, I bought each of them a $50 gift card.

    On Monday, the manager refused to accept the gift card, although I paid good money for it! I have given my mom & her friend gift cards for there in the past with no problem. Suddenly, he would not accept it; *the best he could do", he said, was only charge her half price.

    Once we were back at my mom's house, she called her friend to warn her. Her friend was VERY upset to hear this as she still has $75 available on gift cards. Of course, it now sounds like that money is not really available anymore.

    This seems like a deceptive business practice to me: to take money for gift cards and then not honor them!! I hope you can do something about this so they cannot get away with this. I have no idea how many other customers are affected by this.

    I APOLOGIZE FOR THE SITUATION AND THE MISUNDERSTANDING. UNFORTUNATELY, I HADBTO TRAVEL OUT OF THE COUNTRY DUE A FAMILY SITUATION,SO I HAVE TO LEAVE A MANAGERBIN CHARGE WHO APPARENTLYDID KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THE SITUATION WITH THE CARDS. AT TE MOMENT, WE DONT HAVE THE TERMINALS TO VALIDATE THENGIFT CSRDS, HOWEVER, ON THE BACK OF THE CARD THERE IS A WEBSITE TO CHECK THE BALANCEAND BE ABLE TO VALIDATE IT.

    UNFORTUNATELY, THE GUY WHO WAS IN CHARGE AT THE TIME DID NOT HAVE THE KNOWLEDGEOF THIS. THAT IS WHY THERE WAS MISINFORMATION.

    WE ARE IN THE BEST POSITIONTO VALIDATETHE GIFT CARDS OR RETURN THE MONEY THAT THE CARD HAS IN CASH.
