    I bought 4 pieces of furniture on October 24, 2024 for my mother who was moving into a memory care unit:

    • Dresser
    • Nighstand
    • Lift chair
    • Armoire

    The armoire has never been received. ******* claimed it had pieces broken and would reorder it and put it together and deliver it. I reached out several times through December and ******* said they were having delivery issues from ****** In January, I reached out again and ******* said they had it and would put it together and deliver. Eventually had a deliver date of February 7th, only to be called and claim the delivery drivers were stuck in traffic. Then another date of February 11, which was again cancelled due to weather; however, no one reached out to let me know. I had to reach out to them. I reached out several times after that with no response. Then finally a response and I was given two dates, which I said were fine but ******* never confirmed by text or phone so no delivery. I have reached out several times both by phone, which they never answer, and text. I, again, reached out April 18th. ******* texted back saying they were moving from Dry Ridge to a new location in Florence, Ky but they could deliver the armoire. I requested dates for delivery and never heard back. I have tried calling several times but it always goes to voicemail and I can’t leave a message because their mailbox is full. I also continue to text and have asked them to call me but no one responds to my texts or calls me.

    I would like to either get the armoire delivered or get my money back. At this point, I am not sure if they are still in business. It now states their Dry Ridge location is closed so I can’t even go to the store. I also can’t find their new location in Florence listed, if that is true.

    I bought a chair with a 7 year warranty. The frame broke over a month ago. I called to get my chair fixed and they had problems getting parts and offered to replace my chair. All I get is excuses and not a replacement.
    They have been telling me that it would be delivered for a week now and still no solution just excuses.

    On September 12, 2024, we purchased a loveseat from ******* *********** in Dry Ridge, KY for $604.19. They were going to have loveseat drop shipped to us. After multiple communications, as of November 8, 2024, we had not received loveseat. On November 8, 2024, I told ******* at ******* *********** to cancel our order and refund our money. After multiple communications with ******* and her claiming she had sent a refund, as of January 8, 2025, we have not received a refund.

    We would like to file a complaint of a violation of the Fair Trade Commission Act, Section 5: Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices. This act states an act or practice is DECEPTIVE where: A representation, omission, or practice misleads or is likely to mislead the consumer.On September 5, 2022, we purchased two pieces of furniture from Victory Furnishings at 1109 Fashion Ridge Drive, Dry Ridge, Kentucky 41035, 859-903-3467.
    One Jackson sofa and one Jackson ******* ********* recliner.We paid $1,407.66 for these two pieces.
    On September 6, 2022, we went back and purchased two more Jackson ******* ********* recliners.We paid $1,238.06 for these two pieces.During the process of purchasing these pieces, the salesperson informed us that the pieces had seven-year warranties on the frames, which were supposed be steel., two weeks later, on September 29, 2022, the WOODEN frame broke on the left arm of one of the recliners.This chair was for my 83 year old elderly father-in-law who only watched a couple of football games in the chair. The website for Jackson states to reach out to the retailer for warranty assistance. We reached out to Victory Furnishings. We provided pictures of the broken frame, which Victory furnishings agreed to send to their buyer.The next day, September 30, 2022, we received a text message that their buyer declined to exchange the chair as we asked, citing that the damage was accidental.At this time in the process, we were still unaware of their return policy.WE PURCHASED FURNITURE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY-EVEN THOUGH WE WERE TOLD THERE WAS A SEVEN YEAR WARRANTY ON THE FRAMES.There are NO POSTED SIGNS in the store to let consumers know that they are making AS IS FINAL SALE purchases.During the text message exchange with Victory Furnishings, they sent me a picture of a receipt which shows their return policy.Victory Furnishings already has your money before you receive a receipt that the policy is printed on.     We are sorry they are not happy with the product they have purchased from us.  However, this complaint does not pertain to us.  We did assist in getting the damaged recliner repair claim submitted. We did forward all information that the customer gave us to the manufacture.  We will attach the initial claim and the response from the manufacture.  Victory Furnishing does not carry its own warranty from us as a company.  All warranty coverage is strictly the manufactures.  This was clearly stated that it was a manufactures warranty.  It is the responsibility of the manufacture to decide if this damaged was covered.  Manufacture warranties do not cover accidental damaged caused by the consumer. Including excessive wear and tear or over weight limit use. We will also attach a copy of the warranty.  As the customer states the product was in the home for weeks.  Victory Furnishings will attach a copy of Delivery acceptance form.  The customer signed this accepting that all products was delivered, and no defects were found by the customer.  Based on this information the manufacture decided not to cover the item.  The decision was clearly the choice of the manufacture not Victory Furnishings.

    As far as the return police it is posted in store.  We will submit pictures showing the customer literally has to reach over the sign to use the credit card processer.  The customer states that they made two different purchases.  This is a true statement; the customer would have clearly had the return policy on the first receiptbefore the second purchase.  We will submit copies of the receipt

    I am rejecting this response because: Victory Furnishings is not being completely truthful about the experience we had. My complaint is in fact against VICTORY FURNISHINGS FOR THEIR DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES.The store has a large U shaped counter and I don't know where the sign they showed in one of the pictures was taped, BUT IT WAS NOT ON THE PART OF THE COUNTER WHERE MY HUSBAND PAID-when we made our purchase-AND THE CARD MACHINES SHOWN ARE STRETCHED ACROSS THE COUNTER, AND THERE ARE NO POSTED SIGNS IN STORE.They are correct, when we made the second purchase, we did have the first receipt in our possession, but when we made the first purchase, the sales associate put our receipt in an envelope, and we did not open the envelope until the ********* Recliner Broke, AFTER 14 DAYS IN OUR HOME. IF WE HAD OPENED THE ENEVELOPE, AND REVEALED THE RETURN POLICY, WE MOST CERTAINLY WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED TWO MORE RECLINERS. Victory also did not submit a claim to Jackson as they stated.They purchased the recliner from ***** ****** at ******** ********* *********, in Indianapolis, AND SENT HIM OUR WARRANTY REQUEST WHICH SHOULD HAVE GONE TO JACKSON. I WANT MY CHAIR REPLACED OR REPAIRED BY JACKSON. WE WERE PROMISED A SEVEN YEAR WARRANTY AND THATS WHAT WE WANT.   I TRIED REACHING OUT TO JACKSON, BUT THEY SENT ME BACK TO VICTORY FURNISHINGS. VICTORY SENDS ME TO JACKSON. WHICH IS IT?  VICTORY MADE A POINT TO TELL US THE PIECES HAD A SEVEN YEAR WARRANTY BUT DID NOT MAKE A POINT TO TELL US THAT THEY WOULD NOT HONOR IT, NOR WOULD THEIR SUPPLIER OR JACKSON. VICTORY PICKS AND CHOOSE WHAT INFORMATION THEY PROVIDE TO CONSUMERS SO THEY REAP THE BEST BENEFIT AND CONSUMERS LIKE US ARE OUT OF LUCK. WE SHOULD NOT BE OUT ALMOST $700.00 FOR A CHAIR THAT ONLY LASTED 14 DAYS.  MY COMPLAINT IS MOST CERTAINLY WITH VICTORY AND THEIR DECEPTIVE PRACTICES WHICH ARE INTENTIONALLY HARMFUL TO CONSUMERS.
