    On 4/27 I took my children to Great Clips for a hair cut, and ***** *manager) was VERY RUDE, and not patient at all with my child who is 3 and level 2 autistic. I grabbed my son an left after she had shown she was getting annoyed by heavily sighing because my son wasn’t sitting perfect still. Then she drenched the top of his head with water, and proceeded to say “it won’t hurt you buddy” while he’s got his hands up because water was also in his face!!! I feel like I shouldn’t have to tell a random stranger that my child has autism because I do not want a “pity party” and she acted like if I would’ve told her my child was autistic she would’ve treated him differently…. I was charged $18 for a HALF hair cut and it isn’t even blended fully!

    I have reached out to customer service regarding this and they said they would have someone contact me, and nobody has contacted me.

    I'm writing in response to a letter we received today from the Better Business Bureau (BBB), regarding a haircut your son received on April 27, 2025, at our Dry Ridge Great Clips location. Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in responding to your complaint with the BBB. My manager has not been diligent about checking the mail, and today we found two letters from the BBB. I have since spoken with my manager about the importance of checking the mail more regularly.

    Going back to April, shortly after your son's appointment, I received the initial complaint that was sent to Great Clips. My General Manager, ***** ******, spoke with you on May 5, 2025, at 1:23 PM. She informed me afterward that you were happy with the resolution to have his haircut finished by another stylist at our salon. ***** also mentioned that you appreciate the Dry Ridge salon as it's typically a comfortable place for your son, and we certainly understand how important that comfort and routine can be. At that time, ***** also spoke with the stylist who originally cut your son's hair to address the issue.

    Could you please update me on what has transpired since your conversation with ***** on May 5th, that would cause you to complain with the BBB?  Again, I apologize for our late response and look forward to hearing from you so we can ensure this is resolved to your satisfaction.
