      Bought a truck from cheaps chevrolet I'm flemingsburg in june went into the shop for hard shifting and shaking. Got it back around 2 weeks. The truck is still actinging up it wasnt fixed. The truck had a fire in it i was never informed also water damage. I have made attempts for them to buy the truck back they refuse. And I also have things that was added to the loan that was never installed on the truck and I'm 7 months in they owe me money and they should buy the truck back.

      *** ******* brought his truck in on July 3, 2024.  He complained of his transmission shifting weird/hard, popping noise when changing to 4wd, a shimmy in front at all speeds, an intermittent knocking noise when first starting, windshield replacement and a tire pressure light.  

      On his transmission shifting, my *** certified Master Tech shop foreman drove the truck multiple times.  Drove cold and hot and never could duplicate the customer’s concern.  He also shifted the transfer c*** in and out of 4WD multiple times under multiple conditions and never had any issues.  I explained to the customer to ple*** keep an eye on it and let me know how it does.  I explained to him that it has to be doing something before we can diagnose anything.  I have kept his repair order open waiting on the customer’s response.  

      The front end shimmy was slight.  We did balance the tires and the shimmy was gone.  

      We did notice the knocking noise on startup.  When we heard the knocking the brake pedal went hard.  Upon further inspection, it was diagnosed as having a bad vacuum pump.  We replaced the vacuum pump and belt.  No further issues happening here after the vacuum pump was replaced.

      We did a windshield replacement while it was here that sales promised at the time of sale.  Also replaced 2 tire pressure sensors that were defective.  

      We still need to install a pulse module on *** *******’s vehicle.  I missed that while it was here for the other issues.  We have reached out multiple times to try and schedule that in.  The last time we sent *** ******* a text.  I have attached that conversation to this email.  

      As far as the fire/water damage, I have attached the ********* and the ****** to this email.  *** ******* also had a copy of the *********.  While the ********* report does show an accident, it says nothing about fire/water damage.  The ****** does not even show the accident.  Our initial inspection of the vehicle showed no signs of any fire/water damage.  

      I am ready, willing and able to help *** *******.  I want to help *** *******.  I can’t help *** ******* if he will not bring his truck back in for service.

      I am rejecting this response because: Just so you all know the truck was never inspected and on top of that I have been a Firefighter for 16 years now to tell me that the truck never had a fire in it is pure disrespect to me and my training. The brakes was awful also and dangerous to anyone who bought it. The truck shifts hard still the wheel weights never worked and it was not drove after the weights was put on I was there the day of the weights and watched the kid pull it out of the bay and parked it on the side of the main building another lie. I never got a copy of a ****** I got a text about it after I bought it when I started asking questions. Cheaps Chevrolet has failed and I'm asking for a buy back.

      My husband a senior and myself drove to cheaps Chevrolet in Flemingsburg Kentucky. We traded a 2014 gmc truck with around ninety five thousand miles. We got 10,000 trade in. They overcharged us for a 2017 Nissan titan diesel. As I was driving off the lot the check engine light came on. They checked it out and the diesel turbo needed changed and sent to another garage in Frankfort Kentucky after waiting weeks for the part. My paperwork was redacted in areas I did not understand from cheapskate Chevrolet Only after a month did the dealership business manager had left a voice message to call her. They kept the truck over a month and when I drove down this month and drove the truck home to Barboursville West Virginia the four wheel and abs light error came on. This was an unsafe vehicle that was released to me to drive 90 miles home. I hope you will warn others about my complaint. I called numerous times and the service department suggested I take to a garage in West Virginia. Cheap Chevrolet priced this vehicle to me when’s its value was $13,000 not $20,000. I never got an opportunity to arbitrate issue. I’m going upside down on a newer truck trade here which has a used auto lemon law.

      *** ******** did come in and agree to a price on trading her 2014 GMC for the Nissan Titan we had on the lot.  A test drive was taken and the deal made.  When she left, the check engine light came on.  Service Department diagnosed as needing a turbo.  At that time, we offered to unwind the deal.  Customer declined.  The turbo was on backorder.  The turbo actuator came in first.  We installed it.  After talking to the Nissan dealer in Frankfort, the truck was sent to Frankfort for the actuator calibration.  The calibration would not complete.  We did indeed have to have the complete turbo which had now been shipped.  We had the Nissan dealer go ahead and install the turbo and calibrate everything.  Truck was operating as designed.  I sent 2 people to Frankfort and picked it up.  Drove it from Frankfort to Flemingsburg with no issues.  During all this time, the customer was provided a BMW suv to drive.  She did return the BMW before the truck was complete.  The salesman offered to deliver the vehicle back to the customer on a Sunday.  His day off.  The truck was sold at market value at the time the deal was made.  A bank will not finance a vehicle that is $7,000 over value.  She has a 3 year, 36,000 mile Preferred All State warranty to cover most anything that would happen to the truck.

      I am rejecting this response because: a bmw is not suitable for a farm I had constant  extreme anxiety over destroying the too fine vehicle suitable for city or town.   The 2017 titan xd diesel was not fixed and ready to use.  Four wheel drive and ABS warning light came on.  This dealership did not check all issues so potential buyers beware of this dealership.  Regardless of outcome I encourage Senior buyers to beware of used vehicles at this dealership.
