I took my car into Saylor's Automotive in ********, KY because I had coolant leaking from my car. They later determined that I need to have my radiator replaced. They replaced my radiator on a Monday. My car ran fine, up until three days later, that Thursday. I was driving along and the next thing I knew my car sounded as I was going 80mph and I was probably only going 20 to 30mph. So, to make a long story short, I had to have my car towed back to Saylor's Automotive. A couple days went by and they did not call to update me about my car, so I stopped in. They told me that I was now going to need a "new transmission." I stated my transmission was running fine prior to them replacing my radiator. I did not have any lights come on indicating that I need to check my transmission or nothing. I let my car sit on their lot for a few days, then I had my car moved right around the corner to *** ************ off ********** Road in ********. After they inspected my car they determined that I need a part that sits on top of my transmission which is called a "valve body." It is the computer of the transmission. *** ************ also determined that Saylor's Automotive did NOT add any coolant back into my car after they installed my new radiator. Per *** ************, the repairs to replace the valve body is going to cost $4242. I do not have a $4242 for this repair or hiccup Saylor's Automotive caused.
