    This is a follow-up on the review I gave below on 02/20/2023. Since posting that review, the owner contacted me and some of the issues I had expressed displeasure with were resolved. I was probably too harsh in my criticism of his crew as I realize what a hard job landscape work is and getting reliable people to sign up for, it is not easy. That said, the main complaint I have with the owner is he fails to communicate. An e-mail or better yet, a phone call stating why a delay or change is necessary would be a big step in resolving these kinds of not knowing why they failed to show up or unforeseen issues. If he could grasp that fact, he would see more customers. People investing time and money in hiring a company expect to be kept "in the loop". I don't think that is too much to ask?


     


     


    Alex W*****, who owns/manages this business talks a good game but fails miserably in performance. We had his company design and implement a backyard landscaping plan. Lots of waiting which he said was due to him being so busy. When they finally got around to us, his crew, which seemed to be a pick-up bunch of workers, not anyone invested in the business, performed with lackadaisical attitudes. When completed after more delays, the final result was less than perfect. We called him back for a number of touch-ups, but only some did he address, and every time workers returned they weren't the original crew. They told us what needed doing and that was as far as it got. No follow-up. Alex had promised that all plants would be replaced if they failed to grow. We had two which did and no replacement was forthcoming. They had installed a small pond with a pump, which was a cheap pump that failed to perform after a few weeks. Two of his crew (new) showed up and cleaned it out and seemed amused by what they were doing. Left after a couple of hours promising a crew would return to complete the changes we asked for. No one ever came! I attempted after a few days to contact Alex. He completely failed to return phone calls or e-mails. Haven't seen or heard from him since last Fall! Didn't even bother to let us know why or recommend any solutions. Avoid this company at all costs. You'll be sad if you don't!
