    I paid $89 almost a year ago.. I spoke to him in person about a week after the New Year he told me he would look over my stuff and he would say if I needed to pay more or not and I haven't heard anything I've called left messages in secretary.. I want my money back now as it should have been.

    Paid this man all his money, he sent paperwork he made up which wasn’t correct and never filed! Had to go with another lawyer to get what had already paid him to do! Something needs to be done, he keeps doing a lot of people like this, and getting away with it! Mind you this was uncontested divorce with no children or property or anything. Took over a year with no response or resolution! He needs his license taken and go to jail if he doesn’t pay everyone back!

    On 2/9/23 I paid $470 to Marcus Gale for an uncontested divorce. I had previously paid him $150 filing fee for a total of $620. He assured me over the phone that it was a quick and easy process. Shortly after I paid him all correspondence stopped. I couldn’t reach him by phone, email, text, or messages through the portal. On 4/20/23 he did respond via text to say he had been out due to health issues but was back and would reach out shortly. To this day 6/19/23, I have not heard from him again. I hired another attorney about a month ago to finish what Marcus Gale started, only to find out he had done nothing at all. My petition for divorce had not even been filed. I have asked several times for a refund as this has caused me financial hardship having to pay for two attorneys, but he will not respond.

    Filled out the form on February 1. Spoke with attorney on the 6th about an uncontested divorce with him representing. Payment plan was created. Paid $370 on 2/13. Since then have not received any documents to sign to even begin the divorce. Each time I call I get his answering service telling me the attorney is not available and will contact me back. Has not once returned my call or the emails I have sent to him in regards to my case. Gave him 2 weeks to get documents together before starting to call him to follow up. I wanted this process to be done by now. My case is not complicated and should have been done by now.

    I paid $569 on 11/10/2022 for Mr. Gale to prepare and file divorce papers for me. It's uncontested, with no joint accounts, property or debts. No minor children. No name changes. It's a same sex marriage, so that threw a kink in his template, but in his ad it states about a 24hour turn around most of the time. This has been months and months. When he finally sent me a first copy, there were many errors. Then it took weeks/months to get a response back. I called, texted and emailed. Over the last several months his number goes to an answering service and the messages I leave aren't returned at all. When the few times I would get him on the phone, which was months ago, and tell him the errors then it was weeks again before he sent anything else and then there were still errors. A vicious cycle. So I took a day off of work and drove about an hour and a half to ********* **. The address he uses online, is not his law office. I found another address and checked that and he is not located there either. I want a full refund or at minimum, $281. I had to get this finished myself and that $281 is the filing fee for ******* ******* ** to file my divorce papers. That was included in my full price, but now I'm having to pay for it out of pocket now, again as I've already paid him in November. Please help. This is his info:

    The beginning of February I was in contact with mark gale to file a uncontested divorce for me. I paid him 380 up front. He drew my papers up and had me sign them but after that he will not return my phone calls. He hasn’t even contacted my ex husband or sent him any papers it’s all a scam

    Marcus Gale told me in October when he was paid for an uncontested divorce that we would have me divorced by December. He got his money, had me sign some papers and completely disappeared. He contacts me maybe once a month to tell me updates are coming that never come. I am not sure what to even do but this is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. I paid over $500 for this divorce and he promised it would all be resolved quickly and now doesn’t even respond to my calls and messages. I’ve even gone as far as to say if he doesn’t want to do the job to just return the money. I’m being ignored and out of ideas.

    I have filed for a divorce and have been calling and messaging for the last 5 months getting I promise it’ll been done tomorrow or before the new year will no avail. It the same excuses all the time and no results.
