We have had an invisible fence in our yard to contain our dogs since 2005. In December of 2022, it stopped working. A young man came out and recommended replacing the underground cable, which he said was corroded. He was very courteous, and I don't have a problem with replacing a 17+ year old cable that has been underground. On January 2, 2023, someone came out and replaced the cable, for which I was charged $961.93. They marked the cable with flags. A week or so later, I went to pull the flags, and realized I had several lengths of cable which were visible-in other words were not buried and were at or above ground level. This is not acceptable as they most certainly will get cut when mowing the lawn. Briefly, since then they have been out at least two more times, but I still have at least three lengths of unburied cable. I would estimate I have called about this 10 times. I most recently spoke with them on Monday February 27 and Thursday March 9, and since then no one has been out to bury my cable, and no one has contacted me to discuss this. I called three times this afternoon but no one answered the phone. ******* has been very nice on the phone, but I have become frustrated by their apparent lack of ability to resolve the situation. All I want is for them to come out and finish the job, by burying the cable. I don't ever want to see the cable, think about the cable, cut the cable with my lawn mower, or have to contact Invisible Fence to bury it again. That isn't too much to ask.
