    Jackie did some work for my wife and I after a storm took down art of our soffit on the back of our house. He did a respectable job and didn’t charge much for the work. Over the next couple of weeks, he made frequent trips back to my house telling me this or that needed to be fixed on my roof. He knew I couldn’t get up on the roof to verify due to a lung transplant that I had earlier, so I had to take his word for it. I told him not to worry about the roof, I did have a storm door that needed repair. He worked on it for a short time and said he would have to come back the next day to finish the job. I haven’t seen him since.
    Jackie appeared to me to be hard up for money and was out looking for whatever work he could do, even if it meant scamming someone to get it.
    If he ever comes back, I will show him where the street is and give him directions home. Jackie is one you just can’t trust.
