      08/29/2022 I applied to reside on **** **** in Knox hills I am a civilian but I'm also a retired veteran of the United States Navy and I work for the Department of ******* as well I spoke to a **** ****** because I have been waiting over 6 months for a unit to come available, I then gave him $30.00 for a background check I got an email back from him stating that it was declined due to ******* extended fraud alert which I placed on my credit reports along with **** ****. I asked him what that meant I got no answer and no clear answer from this gentleman I offered him my credit report but in May of this year I was in a car wreck I was hit by a DUI driver and the tow truck driver stole my purse that's why I put **** **** on it and an extended fraud alert on my credit reports he never answered me back then I personally called safe rent solutions and I'm sure that's where they go through they and for me that it was really up to that lease agent **** *****. I offered to show him my credit report if that's what he wanted I got no answer so unprofessional I feel like I should be reimbursed for the $30. To establish my identity all he would have had to do was ask me for a partial credit report and my IDs that's it. He was unprofessional and rude.

      residents equally. If credit is denied by the third-party vendor, the applicant
      is provided a letter explaining their credit did not meet the criteria
      requirements. Knox Hills welcomes any applicant the opportunity to re-apply for
      on-post housing once they have resolved their credit.
