      Last week I found "Appliance Repair Center" through a ****** search (see the website link below) . So I called and scheduled an appointment for last Thursday 11/9. A guy named Larry showed up, looked at my dryer and said I needed two replacement parts. First he said one part would cost $245 and the second part would be over $200. I said I would just by another dryer. Then he said he had one of the parts already in the truck and he would give me that part for free and I just needed to pay $270 for the other part plus labor ( total of $382). He then requested a deposit of $270. I paid the deposit using **** *** to Kim C****** at *************, as he requested, and he gave me a receipt.

      He said he would order part and return the next day to fix my dryer between 11am and 1pm. Friday 11/10 came and he was a no call/no show. I called around 2:30 pm and a completely different guy that sounded like a teenager/young adult answered and said Larry would be there between 5 -7 pm because he was tied up on another job. Then he changed it and said Larry left a note that my replacement parts were not delivered so Larry would come on Monday 11/13 in the morning between 9am and 11 am. Yesterday he was a no call/no show again. I've been calling since yesterday afternoon and no one answers the phone.

      The website phone numbers keep changing. But all three numbers have a voicemail greeting for Larry and he doesn't answer. At this point something seemed off so I double checked the receipt to get the name of the business and I noticed that he wrote H***** Appliance at the top, which didn't ring a bell because the company I called was Appliance Repair Center.
      I did a ****** search for H***** Appliance and I see that some guy named Terry H***** was sued by the Ohio Attorney General's office for scamming customers out of deposits for so-called appliance repair services that were not done 8 weeks after they paid and refusing to give them a refund.
