      (Sorry I could not click on 1/4 of a star!) This company yanked me around for an entire week with emails and phone calls which I had to initiate! Trying to secure a car loan, I trustingly applied with this company online. Their emails could only be replied to via code #s which never worked. Phone calls would result in reps not finding my applications EACH AND EVERY day. After adhering to all questions truthfully, copies of personal documents sent, having a substantial downpayment, good credit, car dealer also following necessary procedures, I'm told I'm approved BUT need to drive an hour (+gas) to the nearest branch for a "little further information in person". The new car is on hold for one more day! I am stunned when no further information is required from me after all but then told that CCU does not give loans on rebuilt cars! COULD THEY NOT HAVE TOLD ME THAT OVER THE PHONE? A whole week has been wasted with this outfit, a lot of experience with ineptness all around! Went to my bank and the loan sailed right through with no hitch! LIVE AND LEARN! Let this be a warning to the wise!

      This letter is in response to the complaint filed by Janet Hogue-Dearth.
      Due to the personal details needed to discuss Ms. Hogue-Dearth’s complaint, we will contact her directly to review the concerns. We attempted to contact the member via phone and email. However, the concerns were originally addressed on 8/9/2023.

      My insurance paid off most of the vehicle I financed through them, and I paid for gap coverage through commonwealth. My insurance paid them on September 1, 2022. I have a letter stating that it would take 4-6 weeks after that for it to be settled with gap. It is now October 12, 2022 and it is still not settled. It has been 42 days. I called them and they have gave me the run around each time. I have to sit on hold for 20 minutes or longer for them to put me right back on hold. They informed me finally that they can’t file the gap claim until 10 days after the insurance paid, which means they should have filed it on September 11. They informed me on the phone that they filed it yesterday, which was October 11. So instead of 10 days later they waited 41. My next payment is due on November 3, 2022. My claim will probably not be handled by then and she informed me I will be responsible for the payment regardless. After being told multiple times it would be taken care of before November. This place is a joke. They don’t know what they are doing. I would not recommend them to anyone.
