      Hello. I have a tankless water heater that was installed by Neiheisel Plumbing approximately ten years ago. The tank, made by Eternal brand, began to leak this past week. I contacted Neiheisel as they were original installers. I have all of my original paperwork and operation manual. After Neiheisel informed me that the Eternal brand was no longer made and that they could no longer get parts for my unit, the lady from their office confirmed that it would cost me $125.00 for a service call charge, if they came out, that would only confirm what we already knew. It couldn't be fixed. We both agreed that would be a waste of time and money. She then advised me that it would cost approximately $3,500.00 to $3,600.00 to replace. Naturally, I was shocked at the high cost of replacement. I advised them that I would contact them after I checked other options and get other estimates and opinions. At no point did I agree to or set up a time for a service call or for a replacement installation. I had no reason to as they had already explained to me that they could not repair my water heater and I had not secured other estimates or opinions at that point. Since that time, I have received invoice emails stating that owed them $125.00 for a service call that I did not schedule or agree too. I did not need to call them or leave a message for them when I in fact had never scheduled an appointment for a repair that could not be made. Since then, I have been securing other opinions and estimates from other companies. I have received subsequent emails from Neiheisel stating that I owe them for a service call that never happened. They claim that they had a driver enroute, stuck in traffic, for a service call that I did not schedule. It is apparent that they did not communicate amongst themselves and now they seek to blame me. The follow up emails I have received are from people who were never involved in my original communications with Neiheisel. I feel like I am being "bullied" by them.
