I will never take anything to mid-state recycling .Glasgow KY again . I just got home after taking them a s-10 truck loaded with aluminum cans all crushed and in garbage bags. Stacked higher than the cab of the truck and tarped BECOUSE it's raining and to keep them from falling off the truck. I called and got a quote of 64 cents per pound. When I get my check it's for $105.60 and according to mid-state I only had 165 pounds of crushed cans on my whole load. I called and was told that if I wanted to drive back over there they would ask the guy outside. RIGHT LIKE THERE GUY REALLY GONNA ADMIT THAT HE SCREWED ME OUT OF 250POUNDS OF CANS THAT THEY NEVER WEIGHTED WHEN I WAS THERE. . if you want to take your scrap to honest buyers don't take it to mid-state BECOUSE you won't get treated right that's a fact. I'm not the only person they have done this to .Im just not afraid to call out a dishonest business when I get ripped off. The guy working for them needs to lose his job and in my opinion be arrested for stealing scrap metal from everyone who sells there scrap at mid-state recycling in Glasgow ,my. I been recycling for over 35 years and never in my 35 years of recycling metals have I been ripped off as bad as I was today at mid-state recycling in Glasgow KY.. they need to find people who know how to be honest when they weight people's scrap metals.. some of us are in disability and we have hard enough time trying ti survive in the times we live in. With out dishonest company workers stealing from people who really count on the little bit we make scrapping our metals I hope the owner of mid-state sees and reads this . And does the right thing and holds the employee responsible for his dishonesty and does right by the good people of Glasgow KY who sells there scrap metals to Mid-state and helps to keep mid -state recyclings doors open.
