1 starWe paid $80 for a consultation came to an agreement for them to return on 6/20/25, between 2 & 3 PM, confirmed the appointment the day before. Changed our weekend plans and at 3:30 called them left a message that their worker still had not arrived only to be told that he might be stuck in traffic but we don't know where he is. At that time we were told that they may be able to get someone out here in 7 days. I am furious because I changed my plans and they didn't have the professionalism to contact us to keep us informed and I have an awning that I can't put up myself of hire someone else to install because of the contract. I can't give them an honest rating because they still haven't done the job.Review fromCarolyn H

Mr. Handyman of NKY did a wonderful job finishing our pantry room into a butler's pantry. They were promptly there each day, professional, and polite. It took a couple of days for the project and they cleaned up after themselves. They paid attention to detail and listened to our requests. They were quick to respond to my request to discuss the project then to make and appointment to install a new bathroom sink top and faucet. The technician, Steve arrived on time after notifying me he was on his way as scheduled. He clearly knew what he doing. He was done quickly and was pleasant. The Mr. Handyman company of Northern Kentucky seems to be out to make money by charging an $80 fee to come for an estimate, then later gives you an actual estimate that is way over market rate, so they win whether you have them do the work or not. After their person came to look over the job of replacing three wooden porch steps, we later received an estimate 40% higher than what other internet research turned up for expected pricing. A call to their office requesting a more reasonable estimate or partial refund of that $80 ‘estimate fee’ just resulted in a run-around.Mr Handyman of NKY and West Cincinnati
