We moved into an old house that had been vacant for a few years and found some evidence of mice. Sure enough, after a few weeks my cats brought us a couple of field mice in our bedroom. I called snowball. Aaron came to my house on Thursday, Nov. 10 to perform their first service. I decided to enroll in the full year program as it was the best value ($400). Earlier that week I had been troubleshooting a dishwasher that wasn't working and had left the kick plate off. Little did I know that their technician had left bags of rat poison under there, exposed. The following Monday night/Tuesday Morning (11/14-15) my cats found the exposed poison at some point in the night and thought it was a toy. I found them with the bag of poison on the landing of my stairs with a hole chewed in it and bits of the poison scattered about. This was about 6:30 in the morning, well before their business hours, or my vet's. $400 later at the emergency vet, I went to pick them up and begin giving them a pill 2x daily for three weeks. I also found out that there would be a second visit to determine whether or not there was still poison in their system, estimated at another $160. I called their customer service and they let me know that he'd left the bags under the stove and dishwasher. Obviously I let them know that due to their technician's negligence, they would be covering those costs. Later, after an email exchange with their customer service where I sent them copies of the invoices, one of the Snowballs (Stephanie maybe?) called me to discuss the matter. She let me know that they were generous to refund the annual cost of the program, and that they wouldn't be covering the expenses incurred due to their actions. She then accused me of moving the poison traps and trying to extort their company while the owner was dying of cancer. As of yet, no refund.
