    We had some roof damage from the last wind storm. We don’t know anyone in the area that is reliable to repair roof damages. We called the Chamber of Commerce for any recommendations, and the Chamber of Commerce recommended Above and Beyond Roofing. We contacted this company and spoke to Mrs. April Boyce and explained to her our situation and she sent us an estimate. She initially sent us an estimate costing about $18,000 and later informed us it was mistake. But also stated that her company would also accept the insurance claim payment. Mr. Rick Boyce came over our house with the contract. We both went over the contract and I made a payment. After a couple of weeks or so, we inquired about the start date and Mr. Boyce stated that he had medical situation with his spouse. After a month later, Mr. Boyce came over (second time) and stated not remembering our contract and payment received, but later recanted his statement and acknowledged cashing my check payment and bringing the contract. Mr Boyce left but did not provide us with a start date. Weeks later, we tried calling both contact numbers provided but goes to voicemail and even sent numerous text but did not get any reply. We held back or gave them benefit of the doubt due to his spouse medical situation.
    We are running out of patience and perhaps this company may be a scam.
