Total job was quoted for 5500$ with material, we spent more than that in labor alone due to 2-3 workers standing around with no material to work for 1.5 weeks. When doing an inspection on the end of the 3rd week I found that the company had laid laminate tile over a 6x10” hole in the floor so I could not see they didn’t replace the flooring to cover this. Electrical wiring not installed correctly. Dry wall needs sanded and finished paint was added to try to cover up globs of unfinished mud.

Built Rite was not responsible for this job. I personally found a couple of workers for him and let him just pay them not me nor my company for this job. Once we spoke and we both agreed he would pay other workers, not my company to do the job he did change up several items, more expensive items to be replaced also adding in other jobs as well instead of the original tasks agreed upon for the other workers .Even though Built Rite was not responsible nor had any dealings with this job I personally drove 50 miles daily out of my way to help ***** with some questions he had as he changed his mind daily on what he wanted done. I gave him advice as a personal friend only. It was stated Built Rite would not and could not do this job as we were booked up and would not be responsible for anything pertaining to this job. I helped ***** by quoted him around the price it would take as long as he did not change any material items and add any other additional tasks. I even paid the 2 guys out of my pocket because he refused to pay them after they done everything he originally asked them to do. As far as the hole in the floor ***** stated he wasn't worried about the spot because it was by the wall and be covered up and he couldn't afford to replace it fully due to his baby being born.  Once the workers started he completely changed all aspects of the original job added more expensive items like a tile shower, larger sink, which was obviously more expensive. I hate this has happened , however, I personally have learned not to help people that say they are re tour friends especially if you own a company.
