      Garage Door for $1,070.50
      Was to be installed no later than 7/15/2022
      Multiple calls to no avail. Was told about 3-4 different things. Last time was the "truck broke down while on the way from the manufacturer" at 4:30PM day before 3rd attempt at an install date was given by company. Then went on to say now the manufacturer has to give ETA. Feels like a scammer/fraud to me. Nothing is verifiable by a 3rd party such as a tracking number or anything.

      On 06-21-22 the *******'s were quoted for a new garage door. Exhibit .01

      The Non-refundable deposit was placed on 06-23-22. Exhibit 0.2

      Order was acknowledged on 06-23-22 from the Manufacturer. Exhibit 1.1

      Letter from Manufacturer reporting the of delay in global supplies.

      Order was pushed back by the Manufacturer four times. Exhibit 1.1

      Door went into production on 08-03-21. Exhibit 1.2 and Exhibit 1.3

      Preliminary Estimated delivery was sent on with letter stating supply of continued supply issues 08-09-22. Exhibit 1.4

      Delivery Schedule for 08-18-22 with installation to be the next day. Exhibit 1.5

      Received a call from the truck driver he was broken down on 08-17-22, Manufacturer was to find out how the truck would be rerouted.

      Called the *******'s to relay the message. on 08-17-22.

      Mr. ****** was very angry and verbally abusive via telephone to several employees about the delay again and issued a complaint via social media Exhibit 2.1 08-17-22

      New Delivery scheduled for 08-22-22 once the truck was rerouted. Exhibit 1.6

      Chargeback was issued to ***** Credit Card on 08-18-22. We will dispute. 

      Complaint was issued with the BBB. We are disputing.

      Mr. ******* kept insisting that we were not meeting an agreed upon deadline, that was not documented anywhere. We communicated to the *******'s of the delays and break down and was accused of "making up another story". 

      The claim to the BBB is that we are conducting "scammer/fraud and as unverifiable". With the extensive documentation we have provided there is no proof to the fact. The complaint is unfounded and should be dismissed.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      First off the claims made in the response are flat out lies by the company.  At no time did the company reach out to us to make us aware of any updates nor changes to the agreed upon installation date.  Repeatedly we had to contact them in which they could not give us the status of the order, where the door was, when it would be in their possession.  Furthermore, their OWN staff admitted on multiple occasions that they did not track, update, notify, etc any order unless the customer contacted them and then they would take their time and call back days later or not at all prompting additional calls.  Furthermore, their own employees admitted on multiple occasions that their system was so old that they could not find us in their system by phone number, physical address and only by house number and guessing could they even locate the order.  The idea that customers are somehow hateful towards them for holding them accountable for the job they should have already been doing to begin with is preposterous.  In addition to, we were told on more than one occasion that they did not know where the door was, was lost with 41 other doors somewhere and so forth, repeatedly getting a different story from them.  The worst part is if you read the ****** Reviews and replies the company has made it is clear that they are petty, self-righteous and vindictive towards customer who post poor reviews.  They do not do anything but sell the door, they don't make the door, install the door (contracted out to random installers based on availability and so forth.  Former employees and those that know the daughter of the former owner/president have told stories of how awful these people really are and can be named in a formal lawsuit if need be as character witnesses.
