    Southern Comfort has gained a lifelong customer because of their tech, Ray. Br**** ******* *** *** replaced a capacitor and a fan motor and $1200 later, I still had no AC. The tech told me it wasn’t repairable and I would need a new system. I wanted a second opinion, so I went with Southern Comfort. Ray came out and within minutes told me exactly what the problem was. The capacitor B***** installed was oversized and AND they wired my fan motor wrong which caused my fan motor to overheat. Could he have said I need a new unit? Yes… but he didn’t. He was very honest and had my HVAC running like it was brand new. While we were waiting to see if the motor was going to overheat again, he took the time to educate me on how the outside unit functions and what each part does. Not only did I get my AC fixed, I learned about HVAC systems. He was very kind, knowledgeable and professional. My system is 22 years old and I will be buying one in the near future. Because of his professionalism, knowledge and experience, I will be purchasing my new systems through Southern Comfort. It’s hard to find contractors you can trust, but I was fortunate enough to find one.
