    Hello Mrs. *******

Thanks for the opportunity to present our side of this issue.

Mr. ****** *******, who filed the complaint, emailed us about ***** *, our software, in July 2024. The first time he asked about the product and we emailed back what ***** * includes. The second time he asked about the terms of use if he could pause ***** * once he took his exam and had time to use it later. Although this is not our policy, we told him he could but just needed to let us know in advance the date he wanted ***** * to be paused.

He purchased ***** * on November 20th. He logged into the chat on November 27th and the artificial intelligence suggested to him email his refund request to ***********************. It didn’t tell him we would give him a refund. A refund would be against our policy as according to our clearly stated our Term of Use. We offer a free trial of our product so students know what they are getting before they make the purchase.

According to our records we never received an email from *** ****** requesting an email, so, we believe *** ******’s statement is inaccurate. If he had, we would certainly have responded; however, our response would have been No as this is our policy. We are a small company and we pride ourselves on our customer service. *** ****** didn’t give us a chance.

A Terms of Use page is included. The Terms of Use is located on the footer of the front page of our website, and as a document which must be approved by the purchaser upon check out. *** ****** checked the box and agreed to these terms when he purchased our materials.

    Thanks,

    ****** *****
