I called the company when I needed a tree cut after an ice storm this year. They agree to help. However, they never showed up. A week later, one person called (probably his name was Steve, but I might be mistaken) asking where I still needed help. I said no; I do not need services any longer. That was it. The people who cut the tree were supposed to remove the cut branches. I was surprised when I received a phone call from the company a month ago in March asking me to pay for the services. I never saw anybody from the company and I did not hear from them till March. I do not know who removed the branches, the city, the people who cut the tree, or the company. Today I received an invoice for $321.00 with stamp past due.I will pay the bill by the end of month. However, I do not understand why should I pay if I never asked them to do what they done. I did not negotiate the price. They just decided to do it without even informing me about it. I said I do not need their service but they provide it anyway whether I agree or not.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I called to cut down the broken tree in my driveway after the ice storm in January. Over the phone, Lex Tree Service told me when the team will come. The crew did not show up. They did not call me either. I hired another person (Nathan ****** from a construction company) working in the area on the day Lex tree service people were supposed to show up. I paid $1200 for the service to cut the the tree, move it to the curb, and remove it within 2 weeks. In a week or so, a person from Lex Tree Service called me and asked whether I still needed the service. I replied that I no longer needed their service. That was the end of my communication with the company. Two months later,  Lex Tree Service contacted me regarding paying for their service. I told them I did not get any service from them since they did not do what I asked. Last month, they told me they had removed the tree branches from the curb and that I had to pay $321. I did not hire them to remove branches from the curb. I clearly said that the broken tree blocked my driveway, and I could not get my car out of the garage. I said nothing about removing anything from the curb.
I was sure Mr ****** and his team removed the branches when the curb was cleaned up. I do not know why Lex Tree Service did what they did. I also do not agree with the price; I was not contacted on the matter.

     Sincerely,

    TO THE PARTIES CONCERNED:

I WILL WRITE THE TICKET OFF.  THERE WAS A MIXUP SOMEWHERE IN THE OFFICE FROM THE TIME THE ***** CALLED IN AND BY THE TIME THE CREW ARRIVED.
I LOOKED AT THE TICKET WHEN ***** CALLED IN AND THE GENTLEMAN WHO WROTE THE TICKET UP DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING ABOUT THE DRIVEWAY BEING BLOCKED.
THEREFORE, THE MIXUP WAS OUR FAULT.

I AM SO SORRY FOR THIS.
