On 03/26/23 I paid for a 2 week board & train for 2 dogs. The charge was $2,600.00 which was paid through Paypal. The service included 6 home follow up training sessions to be made whenever I wanted. I received 2 of the follow up sessions and during the 2nd session the female trainer and I spoke about getting e-collars to help with prey drive. On 06/29 I paid $390 to the owner for the purchase of the e-collars. Once they arrived we'd make the 3rd appointment. I was under the assumption the female trainer would contact me to set up the appointment once they received them or vice versa if they were shipped to me (I never received clarification on where they would be shipped and I never received them.) I waited for a long time before contacting anyone back because we had several family emergencies that required long distance travel almost every weekend for several months, so the next time I contacted the female trainer it was 12/15/23. I texted her about both the collars and training. I waited 5 days and contacted her again the morning of 20th of Dec. I waited about 12 hours and decided to text the owner on the same day that evening. I did not hear from him and attempted to contact him through text again on the 27th. I still did not hear from him so I called him on 01/16/24. He informed me that he didn't know anything about it (which is obviously not accurate because I have texts countering that claim,) and that the female trainer had been fired without him knowing. He asked me to send him an email with the payments, which I did, and that he would get in touch with the female trainer to find out what happened. Again, I waited. I texted him on the 19th. His response was "Have not had a chance yet I'll let you know as soon as I do." Again, I waited. I texted him and emailed him on 03/03/24 to inform him that I wanted a refund for the collars and remaining trainings and that I was contacting the BBB and would follow that with small claims court if not resolved.
