With over 50 years of holding active accounts at the credit union, we have had more trouble in resolving issues with unauthorized ACH withdrawals from our accounts than we ever would have expected. After discovering the unauthorized debits, I requested to speak with a senior account manager, who gave me only resistance when I was seeking assistance. Apparently putting a trace on the ACH withdrawals was either too time-consuming, too tedious, or too sophisticated for the ordinary account holder to request. After explaining in detail--on 2 separate occasions--the issue with the unauthorized debits, including that we had already filed a dispute of the charges with the CU, she advised me that the only thing I could do was file a dispute. It's as though she didn't even hear what I said to her. Next step was to bypass her and go directly to upper management. Only after two in-office conversations and several follow-up emails and phone calls/messages with the manager did we get any shred of assistance with our issue. That is not the way I want my bank to do business, so after 50-plus years, we're closing all our Class Act accounts and going to a bank that understands the value of loyal clients. The unauthorized ACH withdrawals were made by two different insurance companies over the course of 18 months; we suspect that someone within the credit union has been using our account to pay for their policies since we do not have now, nor have we ever had, policies of any kind with either of the two companies. Class Act used to be a "class" act--now they're little more in my mind than a "crass" act. Watch every penny that goes into and out of your account should you decide--unadvisedly--to bank with Class Act Federal Credit Union. In addition to this BBB review/complaint, I am filing an official complaint with the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions and suggest that everyone else who has had issues with Class Act do the same thing; the old strength in numbers adage...

They are crooks who have been robbing us for years. I think they are vultures.

This bank claims to not adhere to paying out direct deposits on time to collect interest. Overdraft fees are assessed, ignoring dates withdrawals are to drop. When I called about my concern, all I was told was, "I don't see that," after I was notified date of withdrawal by a creditor.
When I am notified of an overdraft, there is No time allotted to pay the amount to keep the account from being assessed fees. Banks used to allow us time to bring accounts current, which isn't the case now. Fees drop before notification.
As a below poverty customer, I know this isn't just happening to me and during this time of inflation, it's hard to be compliant when this bank manipulates my deposits and payments to my creditors. I feel taken advantage of.
I am not happy about this bank's performance. "Corporate greed" is the game of the day.

This bank has been stealing money from my account. I’ve been charged a finance charge that doesn’t appear on my e-statements. They cut me off from seeing my statements online. They have been so rude to me when I’ve come in wanting to know how much owe on each of my accounts.
They didn’t put money on my second mortgage on my primary residence for 3 months.
