  Very similar experience to all the other one star reviews on Google about this company. The customer service is absolutely terrible. No communication unless you are the one to initiate. Don’t return calls or voicemails. Only answer when you catch them at the right time. Deposit was made to start project months ago, have been promised 7 different times when the project will take place, and every time that the work is scheduled to be done, the day of there is a no call no show. Wait a week and try to get ahold of them, then promised the work will take place the following week. Again no call no show. Every time there is another reason. All we have asked for is communication and honesty. If the project is going to be weeks out just say that. Don’t make promises that can’t be kept and then not communicate that there’s going to be a delay. Owner has refused to refund deposit, very unhappy with the lack of professionalism and honesty with this company. Would not recommend

  I'm SOO disappointed with Cardinal fencing. My gate was damaged from a previous storm, and I reached out to Cardinal fencing to repair, everything went fine with the staff and workers. I noticed my gate was off balance, called the company to repair, no problem per Pete for the past 6 months+ my gate is still NOT repaired, Pete has sent the same man twice to evaluate the problem and still NO repair men to fix the gate.
  Pete constantly tells you what he thinks you want to here with false promises

  Do not use this company. I recently called them because I had one panel that would keep popping out of the post. I spoke with the owner Pete, who said he would send someone out to fix it. They originally did my fence a couple years ago. Never once did Pete mention he was charging anything to do this. I even asked and he said no. After they came out for 10 minutes and put in 1 screw in, Pete emails me an invoice for 250.00. His exact message was we were not going to charge but had to send another person out to help. This was never told to myself and I would never have agreed to pay this fee for 1 screw and 10 minutes of work. This company is a complete scam and will do anything to get your money. Pete will promise the world but everything changes at the end. Please save yourself stress and do not use them.

  This fence was installed more than two years before this occurred and more than one year after the labor warranty expired. I had a team member go out and look at it and see if he could fix it while he was there and we would not have charges for that. He could not and came back and said it required two men to complete the repair. We had to send two me in a truck to his address which is a 30 minute drive each way. While the repair would require only about half an hour to complete, it would tie up a crew for two to three hours. We would normally charge $450.00 for this type of out of warranty repair. I offered to do it at our actual cost which he refused. I believe our offer was entirely reasonable for an out of warranty repair. I am sorry the customer is unhappy but other companies such as garage door or appliance companies would charge much more for a similar issue, particularly for an out of warranty repair.

  I’d give this place zero stars if I could. We hired Cardinal to replace our old gate. An employee arrived to measure and give us an estimate and we gave him a deposit. He said someone in the office would call to schedule the installation. We never heard from anyone so I called the office. I was told that the installation was scheduled on Friday later that week. News to me because no one had called. Friday came and no one arrived at the appointed time. After an hour I called the company and was told they were running late because they had to wash the trucks. They couldn’t call and tell us that? They still didn’t show up so I called again two hours later. This time I was told that the truck should have arrived at our house and he would call and check on them and call me right back. They never showed up and he never called back. I got in my car and drove to their office and confronted the lone employee there. I demanded our deposit back and after ducking and dodging and calling me rude he finally returned my money. Run away from these charlatans as fast as you can.

  We just hired Cardinal Fence to replace a section of our wood fence that was damaged in the bad storms we had a month ago, and they also installed an iron fence to the perimeter of our yard. They were the only company who were willing to come out the same week I called to request a quote. They were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They were prompt in sending my quote and also in scheduling installation. I will recommend Cardinal Fence to everyone I know.

  They installed a privacy fence for me the first week in June 2023. They have been out to the house to look at the gate to the back yard five times and it still won’t shut. I called a week ago and they have not responded. Next step is to talk to my attorney. Terrible customer service and workmanship. Do not get them to put your fence up. You will only have problems and will never fix what they messed up to begin with.

  Philip came out to give me a quote on 2 automatic gate openers. He told me he would get back with me on the estimate in 1 week. After 2 weeks I called the office. He never responded . I called 4 separate times and spoke with Peter who told me would personally follow up to provide the quote. I never heard back from him even after he gave his word he would take care of it. Very unprofessional!

  We had a fence installed from Cardinal Fence and the service was great from start to finish. They came and gave us an estimate when they said they would, they kept us informed with the scheduling and gave a call after it was finished.
  We were impressed with the crew. They were prompt, professional and focused. They asked questions when they needed, making this entire experience easy.
  We are very pleased with the outcome and for the great service!
