This entire process has been a nightmare. We ordered vinyl planks to replace carpet in our home. The original installers left so many mistakes we had to have a Kinnaird's tech out multiple times to correct them. Less than a year later the planks began to come loose. So much so that I could pick them up off the floor with my pinky finger. After inspecting the floor they found there was no moisture under the floors and the tech replaced planks in 3 places. They were loose again in a couple of weeks. When we told Kinnaird's they suggested we super glue the planks together. When we pushed the issue they had a representative from the manufacturer out to check the quality of the floors. The representative again found no moisture and they determined that the original installation was to blame. After a long drawn out process Kinnaird's agreed to replace the floor if we purchased the leveling cement. We received an invoice today for costs of the new installation because the installer had to sand our sub floors (which should have been done the 1st time). When we called to say we have a letter signed by the owner about our agreement, the owner was rude to my husband and told us he was canceling our warranty. This company is dishonest and does a horrible job of installing floors. Avoid them at all cost.

This vinyl plank flooring was installed 6/30/21. We have been out many times to repair the flooring. Our findings were the subfloor of the house was not level and certain areas had moisture problems (dog urine). To be fair, the Mrs. of the house was not there when our service manager pulled up some of the floor and showed the Mr. the dog urine. Because of all the problems, we agreed to replace the entire floor and we would not charge them for the floor or the labor to install it. We would only charge them for the levelling of their subfloor. This would be done with a leveling cement. We estimated to the MR. that it could cost any where between $600 and $1000. He agreed to do it. When the installer went to the job site, he decided the best way to do the job was to sand down the subfloor instead of leveling it with cement. He spent the entire day sanding the floor as opposed to
applying 10 - 20 bags of cement. The charge was $601. They refused to pay the $601 so I told them in exchange for not paying their invoice, they will no longer have a warranty on the floor.
