    It disgusts me to have to give College Hunks Moving even 1 star after their negligence in packing our furniture led to over $15,000 worth of damage while moving. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by College Hunks Moving in Jeffersontown. On May 23, 2024, my furniture and household goods were substantially damaged due to the negligence of their employees during a move in St. Matthews, Kentucky. Derrick W***** the Louisville General Manager, on the phone, even admitted that his employees took "paper padding" but did not use them on our furniture. Our furniture was stacked on top of each other to the top of the moving van with no padding between them. The only item that had paper padding was a shadow box, which their team lead shattered in our home and they disposed of before even getting loaded into the moving truck. So evidently, the paper padding would not have even worked. Despite filing a claim and communicating with the company, we received an unsatisfactory response and refusal to take responsibility. The claim was that their own packing held no responsibility of our move, sounds strange from a company that is considered a "Moving Company." The Liability Waiver was improperly signed only by my spouse, not at the destination (the contract stated "destination" but they only packed at the starting location), and without explanation, making it unenforceable. The team lead admitted it was his first day and failed to use proper padding materials, resulting in significant damage. The company's claim that we were satisfied with the load is irrelevant as their negligence is evident. Despite assurances that the truck was handled properly during the drive, our furniture arrived damaged, and the company's refusal to compensate us adequately is unacceptable. The service provided was not of a professional moving company, as they only packed the truck negligently. I strongly advise against using College Hunks Moving Jeffersontown
