Contract date March 11, 2023. Price of the Granite Counter top was $3715.00 Completion date was to be April 15, 2023. Actual completion date was April 24, 2023. Total price paid was $4265.00. Our Contractors for Cabinets and Back Splash could not begin their job due to Granite Empire counter tops not being installed by their specified and agreed upon date of April 15, 2023. When Counter tops were installed, a portion of the counter top was cut inside my home with no protective barrier to contain the Granite dust particles that went everywhere in my house, also delaying the Contractors for my Cabinets and Back Splash. The other design/pattern of the counter tops were not placed in its proper location as i requested and agreed upon by the Granite Empire sales person. As a result of their error, we received no compensation or discount of any kind.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
Hello and thank you for your response Granite Empire. Concerning the timeline and pricing of the job, yes the contract was signed on March 11th for $3715.00 Pictures, Video and Measurements of my kitchen countertop was shown to you in March
which resulted in an additional charge of over $500 due to my incomplete measurements. You were also informed of my trip
to Mexico in March and we agreed upon a deadline installation date of no later than Saturday April 15th. The sink was never an issue cause we had a brand new sink in a box sitting in my garage for months. We had a plumber on standby. The only real question was do we want our sink top or under mounted. We have Kitchen Cabinets Contractors starting there job on Monday
April 24th after we returned from Mexico on the 23rd. Granted Empires decision to start this project on April 10th made it impossible to finish by April 15th considering all that Granted Empire had to do. Concerning the standard practice of cutting top mounted sinks on site ( in the kitchen ) you left a mess. Granted dust particles everywhere all over my house. You did not use
or put up any type of protective barrier to keep the dust and dirt to your confined work area. ( Unacceptable & Unprofessional )
My Cabinet Contractors voiced there concerns as well. Finally it appears as though my Salesperson failed to put the Design/Pattern in its proper location. Failed at the timeline of completion date and failed at writing down the customer
request for the 25 year sealer. Granted Empire statement of "Customer Satisfaction is at the utmost importance to us"
Seems not to be true for this transaction.
In closing for all the Miscommunication and Failures you find no grounds for Compensation. I wonder if this is how Granted
Empire treats all the customers. Respectfully and Unsatisfied, *** ******** *** *******
