The basis of the complaint is the stylist caused 3 bald spots in the front of my hair as a result of triple knots made too tight. The stylist made multiple mistakes with the style that I had to return to her to fix twice. The text box does not provide enough space to explain but I have listed all the issues with the style. I reached out to the stylist with these issues, and she apologized but refused to take accountability and refused to come to an agreement on the dispute. I only had this style in for 3 weeks, sew-ins are meant to last months.

    - braid down was very loose
    - real hair came unbraided, came through the net and showed through the style
    - stylist did not let me know it was her first time doing the style
    - closure was made too tight, pulled my hair out resulting in bald spots
    - tracks started lifting after a week and a half
    - the parting of the braids had a lot of space where it could've been filled with another track
    - knots were very big
    - tracks were showing, and tracks were not sewn on in any pattern

February 20th the client booked through my booking site for a Hair Included Glue less Closure Sew In for the total price of $415.The client had to pay a $20 non-refundable deposit and agree to the policy;Where it states “All Sales Are Final,CALIXCLIPS does not offer refunds”.March 8 the initial appointment took place, the client was satisfied.March 9th the client reached out expressed that the closure used was uncomfortable and asked to readjust it,to which I agreed.Client returned on March 10th,Closure was readjusted and removal of the elastic band, per the client’s request.Client contacted again on March 15th expressed her now dissatisfaction with the placement closure and that she had 2 ends of the tracks come undone.I apologized for any inconvenience and offered to fix any dissatisfaction free of charge.March 21 the client returned, client had made it aware she had tampered with her lace by adding black make up,Cut 2 inches off the hair and cut the ends of her tracks. All of which I corrected free of charge.Service was completed, she expressed her satisfaction and gratitude.April 1st the client reached out and stated I had caused “3 bald spots in the front of her head where the knot sat” and requested a full refund for the service and hair purchased. I apologized that she was experiencing the bald spots and explained/educated her how it couldn’t be from the knots that she was referring to. These knots are small ties at the end of the thread to secure it from popping/ coming undone. The knots sit on top of the braid and net used to protect the hair it wouldn’t be possible to cause balding from the root.I haven’t had any issues with my foundation and technique causing balding. I denied any request for refunds per my policy.  I explained to the client I had already provided services in addition to 2 free services to resolve any dissatisfaction. The hair and closure were both tampered and cut to which I also couldn’t offer a refund for. A resolution was not reached.
