    I contacted ****** **** on Nov. 16, 2023 via text message regarding doing a specific hairstyle I requested. Before I booked with her, I sent two videos of the requested style and asked her could she do it. She replied yes. Although her website said a $25 deposit. However, she charged me $50. But I paid it. My appointment was scheduled for Dec. 4th. for 10:30am. I asked lots of questions to make sure that I had everything I needed and to be prepared. I was told that the price for the style was $220. I also spent $200 for the hair. The $50 deposit was to go to the cost of the hairstyle. I arrived before her. When she arrived, I showed her all of the hair I purchased for the style. I also showed her my hair, and my problem area. She then informed me that she could not do the requested style and informed me that she could put tracks in my hair which would cost another $150. I asked if there was a style she could do with the hair I had without me having to spend another $150. She stated she could not. I told her that I was going to leave and go home to think about my options. I contacted her on Thursday, Dec. 7th, and asked for my $50 deposit to be returned because I would have never booked with her if he hadn't said she could do the style. She said the deposit is non-refundable, however, that is not on her website. The following texts she sent to me were insulting and disrespectful. I am asking BBB to help me get the $50 deposit returned. If I am not able to get the deposit, at least there is a record of her misdeeds and deception.
