    Business Response

    Date: 05/27/2025

We were first aware of the issues the client was having on 3/18/25 when we received an email saying that the clients wife has been trying to contact us saying we have been ignoring the clients calls. This was the first email we have received from client and neither myself nor my business partner had any missed calls. The client also mentioned our ratings with yelp and angi list, which after doing some research we learned that the ratings he saw were companies with the same name but from different states. But we then contacted the client immediately and went over the same day to address the issues. We address a vent pipe that seemed to have moved. We could tell because we paint our pipes black when installing roofs and you could see white were the pipe had moved. We re sealed all nails and double checked around existing skylight. When then had the drywall repaired and ceiling repainted. Get another call back a few weeks later, saying the leak is back. Answered immediately and went over to clients house to address the situation again. Got into the attic and saw daylight around existing gutter board. Addressed that situation and told the client to please let us know if the leak stops. Do not hear anything back from client. Then get message he has sent complaint on here. We have been more than willing to help fix clients issue which we think could be plumbing related if it is still leaking but not hearing back from the client there is nothing we can do.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

    ******

We just talked to the BBB. We told them that in regard to your letter, you DID respond quickly the second time. You came with your worker, checked it, told us you would buy what was needed, and would be there the next morning at 9:00 am. That was the last we heard from you, and all our calls and messages were ignored. We could not wait and let the damage spread.

The people we talked to were very sympathetic. When we told them that we are old retirees, they mentioned that unfortunately, they hear a lot from this group who are taken advantage of.

They told us today that if you still don't respond to us and satisfy us, to let them know.

    Expecting your prompt response

    Sincerely,

We have reached out to *** ***** but have not gotten a response back. The homeowners have a landline phone.

the last thing we are doing is trying to take advantage of elderly people. Our company takes pride in our work and our relationships in the community. If there was something we did to cause the issues we will fix it. We have addressed any issues that may have been causing the leak.

if homeowner would like to reach back out to me or call me then I will be happy to go over it. But when we try to reach out and get no response and only get communication through BBB, it’s hard to get anything solved.
