      Today, 2/4/2025, I had to get a motel room and decided to get on at this location of red carpet inn. Upon checking in I was notified there is no hot water and no heat and can “rent” a space heater for a $15 deposit. Also, upon entering my room, I noticed trash hadn’t been taken out nor had it been cleaned. From the looks of it at least. I decided to say screw it and deal with it tomorrow as I’m exhausted. I then go to use the bathroom and my ceiling has a giant gaping hole in. My shower sprays water everywhere but where it needs too. There’s cockroaches. And overall filthy and a safety hazard and unsanitary and unhealthy. I want my CASH money back. This is ridiculous and absolutely horrifying.

      On September 26th, 2024 at approximately 10 am I checked in at the Red Carpet Inn Hotel located in Clarksville Indiana.

      When I arrive to room 109. I noticed the most filthiest hotel room in history. There was an unbearable odor and a room was filled with Roaches. Roaches were on the ceilings, in bathroom, on the beds, walls, in the refrigerator and Microwave, and all over the counter tops.... In the shower and behind the toilets.

      I immediately contacted the front desk to get a refund. I was told this was impossible because the clerk stated he was new and had no way of making any adjustments.

      I had no way of leaving the hotel because I had no car and I lived in a different state. Plus, it was storming horribly as Hurricane HELENE was in full action.

      I decided to order cleaning supplies and roach spray from online apps called **** **** *** *******.

      I went to the front desk to request a broom and mop and was told I had to wait til morning when housekeeping arrived.

      I then went back to my room and used what I had to disinfect the entire room and use two can of RAID I purchased online to terminate the roaches.

      After 30mins or so. I noticed finally no roaches in site. I decided to order me food from the same app, as I ate my food ...I noticed dead roaches falling from the ceiling into food I had just ordered.

      I contacted front desk again...this time a young lady said I would have to wait til morning when the owner arrived. I took pictures of the roaches that were dying, but my camera did not capture as nearly the amount of roaches were in room 109 alone.

      I killed so many roaches the more I cleaned them up, the more I would find. This room cause me to becomes very itchy and nauseous and I begin to vomit.
      I begged for a refund and was told there was nothing they could do.
      This whole experience was humiliating as I never rested in the bed because it had roaches in it. I stayed up all night with the door open to air out chemicals from the Raid and odor

      The room had bed bugs and roaches in bathroom room smell of weed and was dirty. We checked in our room at 6:30 set our clothes in the room and left to have dinner with friends and came back around 10 to get a shower and go to bed and noticed bugs in the bathroom I called front desk to get another room but there was no rooms available. So we checked out and slept in our vehicle and called the next day to talk to the manager but kept getting told he wasn’t there then hours of calling and talking to the lady at front desk I was told the room did not have bugs and they where not going to refund me even after having pictures of the bugs. It is the worst hotel I have ever been to I would allow my dog to sleep in that dump.

      I booked a room for 5/4/24-itenerary **************. Upon arrival we were put in room 224 which had the smell of a wet dogx10 and burn holes in the bedspread. I went back to the office -spoke with clerk******** that moved us to room 233 which had at least 4 roaches crawling in the bathroom and wall/door area's. I have videos. I went back to the office and ask for a refund. ******* stated that he could not do that and I needed to tt his manager ******. I have attempted to reach ****** since 5/4/24 at least 10 times myself and ********** (whom I booked thru) and they finally reached the manager that lied and denied my refund and told them I stayed. There are people living at that business and the property is trifling. I only ask for my money back as that is the right thing to do.

      A refund of $420.00 is owed to the estate of *** ******* by ****** ******* manager of Red Carpet Inn, Clarksville, In. *** prepaid for her stay and fell and broke her hip so had to leave early. She was in a nursing home and was unable to return to Red Carpet Inn to process the refund in person. ****** told me numerous times he had approval to refund the money owed and would issue the check to the estate of *** ******* at **** ***, New Albany, In. However ****** ****** has refused to issue the refund. **** *** is holding the estate open and waiting on this check from Red Carpet Inn. I am ***** sister and have spoken with **** *** regarding this issue. I have receipts showing this refund is owed.

      Red carpet inn does not value their customers safety. I checked in on May 20, 2023 and booked for 2 nights. After the first night, someone I didn't want to have access to my room ended up with my second key card. Around 9:45 pm on May 21, 2023, I entered the office and spoke with a older lady with glasses. I expressed my concern about my other key being taken. I then had her change the locks. I was the only person on the paperwork, therefore should have been the only person that legally had access to that room. The lady at the desk assured me that since I'm the only one on the paperwork, that nobody else would be able to get a copy of my key card. That was not what happened tho. The person that took my key returned when I had left, they realized their key no longer worked so they went to the office and not only got a new key card, they also changed the locks so i was unable to get in. Luckily the person was gone by the time I returned, cause anything could've happened to me. This is a huge safety concern. Then when I went to check out on May 22, 2023, I expressed my concern to the front desk, the man that was there was rude and wouldn't allow me to file a complaint. This is a huge problem. What if I had been ********** ***** ** ****** due to the negligence of hotel staff? This will not be overlooked. I have proof this is true and the cameras in the hotel lobby can validate as well. Not a satisfied customer. Rather disappointed in the complete disregard for my safety.

      No TV works roaches no hot water and all I wanted was a refund and they wouldn't do it misplaces nasty they had running hot water I found out since December

      We rented a room thru booking and the foundation is falling apart the rooms have no heat has bugs and no hot water. They refuse to refund my room they false advertise for free breakfast and Wi-Fi which they don’t offer. Please help us

      We apologize for the late response and also regret that this customer had a negative experience. Our rooms are routinely treated for pest and our facility has hot water supplied to all guests. We are working to remove the free breakfast advertisement and we do offer Wi-Fi although sometimes we may experience short maintenance issues.       The water has not been off & on for going 2 weeks now due to busted pipes, and I wasn't able to shower for more than a week nor flush the toilet. The sink runs water here and there so I had to pay else water to use water properly. I feel I should have an even more reduced weekly rate due the my room among others isn't livable.

      I have been staying here for several months this place is infested with roaches I have complained yet nothing has been done it is now starting to get bed bugs in each room the owner has refused to do anything about it but clean rooms and repaint that's not how you get rid of bugs he has rice the rent which is not sufficient with the living conditions of this business he talks to his employees very rudely and disrespectful and he does not pay them enough either this place needs to be investigated by the health department and something should be done about it the bugs are starting to crawl in the bed and the animals that the residents have here are being infested with bugs and trying to eat them also which is nasty please do something about it thanks
