re: claim *************
I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the handling of my recent roof inspection. I was initially informed that the inspection could not be completed due to small patches of snow preventing full access to the roof. Despite assurances that someone would return to finalize the inspection, no follow-up appointment was scheduled, and only an incomplete report was submitted to the insurance adjuster.
As a result, my insurance company lacks sufficient information to make an accurate assessment of the roof’s condition. I contacted both your office and my insurance adjuster to request the remaining portion of the inspection, but I have yet to receive any response or scheduling confirmation.
Due to this prolonged delay, I have been forced to reach out to other roofing companies for independent estimates so I can properly gauge the state of my roof. This has cost me additional time and effort that could have been avoided had the promised inspection been completed in a timely manner.
I respectfully request an immediate follow-up to resolve this issue. I expect a clear timeline for when the full inspection will be conducted and a corrected report submitted to my insurance adjuster.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your timely response and a solution that rectifies the current situation.Business Response

SEEKNOW was sent by insurance company to "inspect" my home for hail damage. After the inspector left he called me asking for permission to "take a siding sample" I told him it was unnecessary as the siding was new and I already sent the specs to the nationwide. The inspector went back to my property and took the sample and left a tarp covering the siding. He took the sample from the least discrete part of the home and visible to the whole neighborhood. When I called to have them come and fix the damage they caused they said it was not their responsibility.
THEN...I get denied my claim by my insurer, come to find out the inspector omitted evidence in the interest of the insurance company. I have golf ball size holes in my siding and rood and SEEKNOW claimed "NO DAMAGE". It would appear SEEKNOW is in the pocket of the insurers and are accomplices in fraud.Business Response

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. We apologize that
our services did not meet your expectations. Our goal is to provide a
comprehensive and accurate report to your insurance carrier based on the
inspection services requested by your assigned adjuster. Upon reviewing
your report, we found that the Seek Now inspector completed a detailed 61-page
report, which included extensive photographs and documentation of the roof and
exterior siding. Additionally, the removed siding sample was requested and
approved by your insurance carrier. Inspection protocols are performed per
industry standards, and Seek Now provides a detailed and objective account to
your insurance carrier. We would like to clarify that Seek Now does not make
coverage decisions regarding your claim. Please reach out to your adjuster
should you have further concerns regarding the processing of your claim. Thank
you for your understanding.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: The statements about a detailed report are not factual. 61 Page report with little documentation, leaving out evidence. SEEK NOW was also informed to NOT come back to my property and did not have permission to take the siding sample and proceeded to anyway.
Sincerely,

If seek now is a company the insurance sends to inspect your roof... RUN. The guy that came didn't even speak to me. His report did not include all roofing areas and there was false documentation ( a photo with obvious damage labeled as no damage). They are paid by the insurance to inspect for damages and their main clause is to say there is no damage to keep the insurance from paying out. No proper footwear was worn. Unprofessional.Business Response

****** ***** came to my house for an inspection ordered by ***** **** for a roofing claim. During the inspection, ****** told me that a new roof would be needed due to the damage. When I called the claim in only one shingle was missing off the front of the roof. After ******s inspection, there were three more shingles missing off of the front of the roof damage caused due to him walking on the roof after it had rain for three days straight. He did not take responsibility for these damages caused by him. I asked about the damage to the flashing around the chimney. ****** stated not to worry about it as it would be replaced when the new roof was put on. ****** sent a report to ***** **** that stated only 25 shingles need to be replaced and could be repaired after he told me a new roof was needed. I was never provided with his report as askedBusiness Response

SeekNow was sent by ******** ********* to assess the damages on my roof. The inspector lied about the lack of damages and failed to notify me or properly report obvious damages to my home. The inspector missed a number of items on my dwelling he later agreed were damaged when I pointed them out to him. (garage door namely).Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: As you already know, that is a Canned and Disingenuous answer. My claims adjuster DID approve my claim at a later date after a more competent inspector performed a full and proper photo report. Your Inspector meandered around my roof and did not attempt to find any damage. Your inspector did not take photos of any damage until prompted. He neglected to even take photos of damage he believed was "mechanical" in his own words. When I actually got on my own roof and questioned him he had no justification as to why he had taken no photos.
Sincerely,

This company was sent out by my insurance company to spy, deceive and devalue your home by taking pictures of irrelevant areas. Their mission is to ASSIST your insurance company on DENYING ROOF CLAIMS. This is an F rated company by BBB. It is breathtaking would risk their reputation by being affiliated with SEEK NOW/LADDER ASSIST. The company or the ladder assistant *** ******* ***** is not qualified to assess a dog house. Make sure your house is tidy outside. I recorded the inspection from the ground and requested he take pictures of all my concerns. He reluctantly took pictures and selectively did not submit them. His focus was on my, electrical power boxes, crawl space door, picture of an old dish left behind by previous homeowners, AC units and serial numbers, every anti- theft iron doors and windows, several pictures of my brick in different areas, basement door pictures on second level, underneath my deck. These pictures have nothing to do with the roof!!! The funniest part is that he refused to come in to see the inside damage. One of the biggest tricks used is they take SELECTIVE overview pictures of the roof standing on top of the roof in a downward angle. This makes it impossible to see wind damage. Wind damage is assessed by seeing shingles lifted up. Be ready to record and have a team of qualified, licensed professionals on hand at the property the same day they send the fraud team. It is my belief the instructions come from the insurance company. One good thing is the anti theft iron doors have been documented and maybe I can get a discount on my homeowners with insurance company.Business Response

There was a horrible storm in April that took shingles and the top point of the shingles off of the roof. My contractor came out took pictures and put a tarp down. My insurance company paid this company to come out. He charged for the tarp that he didn't even put down. He then claimed it was all wear and tear when there is clearly wind and hail damage to the whole roof. So my claim was denied and he got paid to basically lift a tarp. This is ridiculous and fraudulent. Something needs to be done.Business Response
