****** and ***** ******* have never been patients at ******* **** *** * ***** ****. When we contacted the clinic (******* **** *** * ***** ****, Chattanooga, TN) they just said, "Oh, we have had a problem with bills going out to people that should NOT have gone out!" I believe this is a scam to get innocent elderly people's credit card. Kamp Medical Billing NOR the clinic have notified any of the people erroneously billed that the bills were sent as a mistake, so no doubt many innocent people will be scammed. I am 76 and my husband, ***** ******* is 80 years old. Please help look out for the well-being of the public. I have attached the bills in questions. I would not have submitted this complaint if either of the parties involved would have rectified the matter, but they have NOT. Our daughter also received the same letter asking for over $200 that was not legitimate and a SCAM. Thank you for your consideration.

I have received letters from KAMP Medical Billing regarding services I never received. I have attached the three letters I, my wife and mother received.

    We don’t recall any such visits to the ******* ******* *** * ***** **** ******, ************.

I called the ***** **** ****** and they were not much help.

Also note that there are no details of dates of visits, details of medical procedures, payments made, etc.

We have never received any notices of late or overdue payments from any entity.

There also this clause “Unless you notify this office withing 30 days after receiving this notice that you dispute validity of this debt or any portion thereof, this office will assume this debt is valid.”

The mailing of this letter infers that this debt is valid, why is the burden on us to validate the debt for them?

My concern is some people will pay these bills and not realize that they may not be valid and there is not enough information to ascertain the validity of these bills.
