    I had to go into downtown Louisville. It is for reasons such as this I hate driving and parking downtown. I had no place on the street to park. We arrived roughly around 6:30ish and left roughly at 7:45ish for a little over an hour. I parked in a riverside parking lot at the corner of Main and S. 2nd street. I parked in lot number 160. I went to the machine and it asked for my license plate. I had to walk back and get my plate number. I have a picture. Then I put the info into the parking machine and it showed me it was charging me $8.00 and then listed my license plate number, however it also told me to remove my card. As I had my Mastercard in to pay for the fee. All good, until I came out and had a $15.00 parking ticket. So glad I took a picture of my car and the machine as it did not provide me with a receipt. This obviously is a scam for this owner of the lot to make more than $8.00 on a less than 1.5 hour parking. I also saw other cars with the orange parking tickets on them and know that I saw those folks also at that machine. So we are penalized to pay almost double for their faulty and not user friendly equipment. I have the pictures on my phone and wish to file a complaint on this Parking Company on behalf of others as well. Bad business to scam people out of more money. I am beside myself that they do this. We are seniors (husband also with me) and on a limited income. I want only to pay the steep $8.00 parking and can provide the necessary photo's showing I tried to pay in this machine.
