      It seems AAA is not accredited. Neither is M***** *** *******, that they use as one of the contractors. They dropped the front of my Mercedes S500 onto the rear of the flatbed tow truck. DAMAGE WAS DONE. AAA nor M***** ****** are accepting accountability for the damages.

      On July 9th, 2023 our dually lost oil pressure while pulling a 16 foot trailer. ( I mention this because it’s relevant) 73 miles from home. ( the premium package is for free towing up to 100 miles of where you want to go) As we’ve paid for the RV Towing package for the past 12 years and this was the second time we’d attempted to use the service (the first time also ended badly after 6 hours on the side of the road) and had been told each time we renewed that the service wasn’t just for our RV we called. The person dispatching on that Sunday turned out to be in Pennsylvania. We were in Indiana traveling back to Kentucky. She dispatched a tow service out of Owensboro, KY 100 miles away from us. While in route the driver calls and says it’s going to cost us $500 because of the distance. At this point we have already been on the side of the road for more than an hour. ( with 4 kids with us) When he gets there he has to use our ball to be able to pull the trailer. The driver said AAA should reimburse us WELL THAT WAS THE BIGGEST JOKE. The tow service turned in the claim for 172 miles so we were out the $500. AAA’s reasoning was the mileage and no MATTER how many times we said OUR VEHICLE was within our 100 mile towing range YOUR DISPATCHER was the one who made the 100 mile error it didn’t matter. I will admit being irate while trying to reason we were not the nicest of individuals and used language that was better not used. By the time AAA FINALLY arrived to tow we had been on the side of the road for 2.5 hours and still an hour and a half from home. The driver also said the reason for his dispatch was because the truck was a dually and no one closer wanted to haul - mind you that part was hear say. Mind you over the course of this policy we’ve paid $2,028 dollars, and this was only the first time they towed the vehicle. it may be a drop in the bucket but we will be canceling 2 RV towing policies and telling every RV’er we come across not to use AAA.

      If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Because Louisville would not help me in person, did not file a case back in May even though they said they would, and will not return any voicemails or emails from me, or Ashley (another AAA representative), my wife and I were not able to use one of our cars for four months. They damaged it when they towed it and it became unsafe to drive. That happened in May, it is now the middle of August and my case got resolved LAST WEEK. This was the most ridiculous, unprofessional, and subpar customer service I have ever received. Which is saying a lot because I have still not received anything from them. My case had to go to the national level because Louisville refused to do their job. The Better Business Bureau should look into Louisville because of how awful they are at doing their job. Thanks a lot!

      Very unprofessional and inept agent. All receipts had reservation information wrong, which was brought to agents (Tammy *****) attention each time. Only response each time, oh its correct in the computer its all good. When made last payment, tried to charge additional $100. Called regional manager , she took care of. Said we would have final paperwork 2 weeks prior to departure date. 4 days prior to, says still not ready, THEN downgraded airline seats we had already used out milage points to upgrade. THEN at 3 day mark , still do not have paperwork and asking for ADDITIONAL $1.000 for vehicle drop off fee, they said were unaware of. Again had to get Supervisor from Louisville involved. Asking that we pay it then give them receipt to reimburse. Like at this point they have did anything to make us trust then.
