    I contracted with Screenmobile to construct a 3 season room with an underdeck ceiling. Contract was signed on February 27,2003 and I paid a deposit of $7003.50. I was told the work would take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete. After months of delays, broken promises and much frustration, the work was finally “completed” on July 7 and I paid the balance of $7550.50. I was not happy with the aesthetics of several things (terrible caulking, shims placed between screen panels because they are the wrong size, touch up paint to cover scratches on the ceiling, etc) but it been such an ordeal to get the work done, I just wanted them to finish and go away so I paid them.
    It was very dry for several weeks but as soon as it started to rain regularly, I discovered that the ceiling was leaking in numerous places. I had to move all the furniture and cover the rug with tarps to protect it from the water pouring into the room. I have not been able to use the room since September of 2023. The owner, Shannon Lynch, sometimes responds to my requests and sometimes not. We made an appointment for him to come back on February 8, 2024 but he never showed up and didn’t call (unfortunately, that was typical and happened frequently), I emailed him that day and asked for a refund since he obviously can’t repair the leaks and was not responsive. He eventually showed up and attempted to repair the leaks again. After numerous texts (with photos and videos attached), the ceiling is still leaking and he stopped responding to my texts. I sent him another email on June 4, 2024 and asked again for a refund. He responded by saying he doesn’t text with clients. That is the way he has communicated all along! My last email to him was on June 11, 2024 and I have not received a response. The ceiling still leaks, the panels are not secure because they don’t fit, etc. The room is not usable. I can provide photos and videos of leaks and correspondence.
