    I paid Home Instead the required $501 deposit needed to begin services. Once they receive your last payment they are to reimburse the deposit back to you. I got a voicemail (which I saved) from ****** on 4/6/2023 at 2:41 stating that my last payment would be charged through my bank on 4/10/2023 and they would then reimburse my $501. They have yet to do so. I have reached out several times and ****** told me on 4/26/2023 that his plate had been full but he would get the check out and call me which he did neither. I have called and been told on another occasion and today that he was away from his desk and out of the office. I have been put on hold and hung up on. I have called and it will just ring and when I used their services for care, they always answered. Their phones have caller ID because the man I spoke with today when someone finally answered after being hung up on and four calls with no answer read to me my number on the line. He acted as if he was not sure why I was calling but said he would speak to ****** and I would get a call back. He told me hopefully they could come to a resolution. A resolution for money that rightfully belongs to me. I think it’s sad that a company that is suppose to help others especially elderly and disabled acts in this fashion. I just want to get the money back and part ways. There is no reason for this and not sure how this is acting professionally.

    On 5/10/2023, our company issued a check in the amount of $501 to ***** ******* That check has since been cashed and has cleared our bank. This is supported by copies of the issued check, bank statements, and internal financial records.
