  This month makes five years since I chose Pure Power Solar to install the 19 solar panels on my south-facing roof. So, I feel I have had a long enough relationship with Nick H. and his company to state that I could not have made a wiser choice than to have contracted with them.
  First off, as I considered three companies for this job, I was very impressed with Nick, who spent the time needed to explain what all the technical panel information was so I could choose the best panels for my needs. Nick was obviously an expert who could communicate the technical aspects very well so I felt knowledgeable and comfortable with my ultimate choice. And believe me, I peppered him with questions!
  Secondly, I couldn’t have asked for a more courteous and respectful crew, especially when I pointed out to them certain sensitive flowering plants that I hoped they could work around, if at all possible. They did. Nick came out to make sure all was installed properly and even called LG&E for the hook-up appointment. Since then, I have had a couple of servicing appointments (squirrels!) and all was fixed well and in a timely manner.
  Five years ago, when neighbors and friends asked me who Installed my panels and if I felt satisfied recommending them, I endorsed Pure Power Solar without hesitation. In turn, these folks later told me they were very satisfied with PPS, too, and were glad to have chosen them.
  I still feel the same way, especially after five years with Nick and his company. Lately, they won one of two contracts and awards with the city of Louisville’s Solarize program and I think that is well deserved. Nick is not only technically able, but honest and forthright in his dealings with customers. His company is located right here in Louisville, and to me, that is very important aspect of doing business. I feel confident in continuing to recommend him and Pure Power Solar to potential customers.

  While I had some issues with my roofing company, Pure Power Solar was very good to work with. They were quick to call me when the call was setup and quickly responded any time I reached out. They worked quickly and efficiently to both remove and reinstall the solar panels. The technicians on site were courteous and professional. I have spoken to Nick, the owner, several times throughout the process and I would recommend this company to anyone that needs solar work done.

  Nick and the crew with Pure Solar Power were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, always being available to answer questions I had. My wife and I were happy with the entire process - from the first visit until the completion of our solar panels. The installers were very professional. I have encouraged our friends to contact Pure Power Solar regarding any questions they may have about solar power. The results of our recent solar panel installation have been on target with what was promised.

  Pure Power Solar was recommended by Andy M*******, a solar expert in Frankfort. Nick at Pure Power has integrity and helpfulness. He answered a ton of my questions before the installation. We wanted a conduit moved and his workers came out and quickly switched things around. I recommend working with Nick and his team.

  This is a straight up legit solar company. They sell and install solar, not loans. Honest and straightforward discussion on installing a solar system for your house. We went with a system that generates 101 percent of our power. Our April electric bill was $18. Since Kentucky Utilities buys the excess back from us, it didn't make sense to spend the money for the battery. The installers did a professional job and cleanup up everything when they were done. This is an owner/operator small business, and they were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had.
  Their salesman is Steller and the proposal was well laid out. We knew exactly what we were buying and when it would be installed. The Federal Tax Credit really helps reduce the cost, but you do need a tax liability (owe taxes to the IRS) to offset against. It you can pay cash, you will save a lot in loan interest and cut back on the payback time. Be aware, its hard to compare the cost of your system to to others, there are many systems out their on peoples roofs, few generate all the power needed for the year. And ignore the naysayers, there are as many of them as their are solar loan companies. Beware of those click bait adds on facebook. Pure solar is part of the Solarize Frankfort and Louisville so they have been vetted by local solar organizations that get no commission or fee.
  The owner, Nick, and his wife Lindsey are very honest, and responsive. Nick will be onsite every step of the installation.

  Nick and his team are knowledgeable and professional. They did an amazing job designing and installing our solar panels. We are very happy with the service from Start to finish. I would recommend anyone Interested to give them a call!

  Pure Power Solar installed my system Summer 2023 as part of our community's go solar project. Because of that, I was very happy to know this company had already been vetted. I was also happy to know they are a Kentucky Company. After my initial assessment, Nick presented me with a very professional and informative proposal. He thoroughly answered my questions. I opted to have the system installed. The crew did a great job and were done in day. Now that I'm up and running, I couldn't be happier. In summer with the air conditioner running, my electric bill didn't go above $15. My proudest month was $1.33! Go solar, folks. Not only for the environment but for your finances! And use these folks!

  In early 2022, Pure Power Solar installed a 72-panel Solar Edge system on our home and we are extremely happy with it and the professionalism of Nick Hartnett and his team.
  The system has sections on three different areas of our roof, includes three inverters in our garage, and is connected to a whole-home generator--all of which was purchased through Pure Power Solar. The connections are hidden so the installation is very clean looking. The generator was subcontracted to Laswell Electric (due to generator availability during the COVID debacle). Laswell did a great job especially with the complexities involved.
  Nick Hartnett and Pure Power Solar came highly recommended by coworkers of mine and our dentist's business partner. Our dentist's business partner had a smaller installation a couple of years before ours and was very pleased. A coworker (who lives in Indiana where they don't have 100% Net Metering like we have in Kentucky) had a larger, more recent installation and his only wish was that he had better roofing angles to install more panels. He also experienced a squirrel family that was trying to set up a home under some of the panels and Nick installed a barrier for the cost of labor only. This is outstanding customer service!
  The big picture is that Nick and his company came highly recommended and we add our names to that list. He spent the time to inform us of many details we didn't know to ask that were very important and he didn't try to over-sell at any point. We would use him again for any new projects without hesitation.

  I am very happy with my solar energy installation by Pure Power Solar. They were professional, willing to answer my questions and worked around my schedule. The finished project looks nice and functions well.
