I bought a 2020 Ford F150 from them on May 14th, picked it up from them on May 15th. I bought the truck with 38516 miles. I bought the truck sight unseen and with no test drive. The salesman told me that the truck ran great and had no issues. I have the text. After picking it up, I had about a 6 hour drive home. It started making noises about 15 min after leaving the dealership but I was in a time crunch to get home. By the time I got home the truck almost died at a red light . It’s shaking and misfiring. Later that night I got confirmation from a mechanic that cylinders 2,4,5,6,7 were misfiring. I got it to a Ford dealership the next week and they confirmed that it had a bad motor. Chris Hiser Auto lied to me about the condition of the truck to make the sale. They said they would help me out with getting a motor but they have not and will not return my calls. The truck now has 38934.4 miles and has been sitting at a Ford dealership for over a month. This is the shortened version of my experience since the one I typed out was well over 2k characters.

I’m sorry you’re having issues with the truck, but I want to clarify a few things. We offer Vehicle Service Contracts with every vehicle, and you declined, saying your friend was a mechanic. When we got the truck, it drove great all the way from Indiana with no problems, and our mechanic inspected it and found no issues. That’s why we felt confident saying it was a good truck. Had you contacted us as soon as the problem started, within those first 15 minutes, we would’ve sent our mechanic to help. Instead, you drove the truck six hours back to Mississippi knowing it wasn’t running right, and didn’t contact us until the end of May. If we’d known sooner, we could’ve done more. Once we were notified, our GM reached out to ******* ***** who said the motor was bad and out of warranty. We then contacted ******** ********** who originally replaced the motor, to see if a warranty could still apply. Unfortunately, they told us it was voided due to the supercharger being reinstalled. That info was also noted on the CARFAX, which was available on our site while you were shopping.
You mentioned we were ghosting you, but that’s not true. We always try to respond to every customer in a timely manner—sometimes things get busy, but we never ignored you. We run a small, family-owned business and care about our customers. Attached are three forms you signed: a buyer's guide showing the truck was sold AS-IS, an agreement that we didn’t owe or promise anything, and a form where you declined the service contract. We truly wish you’d called us right away, and we hope you understand we never intended to sell a vehicle with issue, that’s why we offer warranties, especially since used vehicles can have unexpected problems.
