    I placed an order for five replacement basement windows on April 6, 2022, the total price of $1,925.00. I made a down payment of $900.00. As of August 11, 2023, I still don’t have a installation date on when these windows will be installed. I have contacted Allied Aluminum about five times from in person, phone calls and email about when they would be able to install these windows and I have got no resolution from them. I called and asked for a refund, but they have not sent me one. I have since had another company come and replace my windows. I would not recommend Allied Aluminum Products at 1410 W. Market Street Louisville, KY. 40203 to anyone looking to have work of any type done to their Home.

    Allied Aluminum installed a sunroom for us in March 2018. On August 19, 2022 I called Dave W*****, the owners son, with Allied Aluminum on his cell phone about replacing 2 transom windows that seemed to be defective. I sent him pictures of the windows via text message. He said he would order the windows and get back with me. On September 14, 2022 I had not heard anything from Dave so I called him and left a message and never received a call back. On November 15, 2022 I called Dave. He said he had the glass for the windows. He said he will check the schedule and get back to me. Again, no call back. On November 28, 2022 I called Dave again inquiring about when the replacement windows would be installed and he said he would schedule soon.....no call back or schedule set. On December 6, 2022 still no date to install. Dave said COVID, which happened 2 years prior, has put them behind, no workers, blah, blah, blah. December 28, 2022 we left to go out of town for a while. As of this date still no call from Dave about installing windows. I called various times between February and May, leaving messages and either his voice mail box was full, or if I was able to leave a message, he did not return any of my calls. On May 18th, 2023 I called Allied Aluminum directly and spoke with Donna. I told her I had been trying since August 2022 to get these windows replaced and Dave just kept giving me the run around. She said he was going to be in my area the following week and she would see if he could come by then to replace the windows. She was going to give him a message to call me. NO RETURN CALL & NO SHOW on the replacements. June 1, 2023 I spoke with Dave directly & he gave me the usual song & dance...he has the glass for the windows, just trying to figure out a time to install, still blaming COVID! As of today, July 16, 2023 I have not heard a word from him. It does no good to call Allied directly as they do nothing to help. Empty promises!!!

    I've been trying to get Dave and Company to install my last 4 windows and finish my front door installation left unfininshed since June of 2013. They either ignore my calls or just don't call back. I've talked to them at least 10 times and they just blow me off. I've asked for my money for the windows back and they hang up. Dave's says he has them but just can't find time to get anyone out here, 18 months of lies. Sorry, now I have to contact an attorney and perhaps a trouble shooter. This project started in January of 2022. A whole house windows and doors replacement. It reading the other reviews, it seems they have a problem finishing jobs and just walk away.
