    Scotts RTO, was easy to work with, however, when it came to them coming to pick up their shed. They decided they were going to go through my privacy fence to get the shed. We were not home at the time. We had no idea, we were working. and came home to the driver, dismantling my fence to get to the shed. I had no problem with them taking the shed, However, they could have waited till someone was home, But I have a serious issue with them taking apart and dismantling my fence (the shed was rented, by a renter, not the owner of the house, I am the owner). with out my permission. And, then not putting the fence back together correctly and breaking a piece of it.

    When I initiated the purchase of a smart barn shed, I payed about half at that time. I made every payment early over the web site. 1 month ago I contacted the company via email to verify that my last payment was all I owed. I received an invoice for my last payment which I made roughly 2 weeks early. I received a phone call just over a week after my last payment saying I owe exactly $150.00 as tax on my original payment. I advised that this is not what I have been told. Caller claimed it was on my contract which I had recently read again and it is not. Furthermore I was told that I can not pay online as was my form of payment through the entire time I was paying for the shed, that I can only pay by providing a credit card number over the phone. Nor has an invoice been sent for this payment. I was informed that my account will not be closed until this is paid. All documents I have say that I have paid in full as does the web site.

    Recently I noticed that the payment portal on their website would constantly say that I owed the same amount no matter what I paid or how often I paid. I contacted the manager assigned to my my account and expressed my concerns, I reassured that it my account was in good standing and that they was working to resolve the issue. month later I receive a call from them say my account was behind and need to make arrangements. Given the fact that had just made a full payment plus extra 2 weeks before hand I was confused, I told her that there was an issue and had the conformation extra to prove my payments. she said that she would send a copy of my payment history and asked the I would send copies of the conformation emails. Upon review I noticed that the amounts on the payment history differ from the emails that I have. I informed them of the discrepancies which they ignored stating the dates were the same so there is no problem. After repeated attempts to point out the discrepancies they finally acknowledge them ask for a copy of my bank statement showing the payment made on may 8th, I compiled and was told what I wasn't sent wasn't good enough. I have submitted all the emails

    Dear Sir/Madam,

       Please find below our response from Scott's RTO for complaint ID ******** that was filed with your office. We did not attach any personal information on the account in question because that is not our policy. Although, if requested, we can submit copies of the payment receipts in question showing the discrepancy in payment amounts. 

    Submitted Response to Complaint:

           We tried to contact Mr. ******* on several occasions and by different methods to discuss his account with him with no success. He hadn't said anything to us about payment discrepancies until his account was turned over for repossession. The Accounting Department started looking into the issue as soon as they were notified. The information we requested is the same that we request from any customer with a complaint of this nature. It was also brought to our attention by the software developers that the receipts Mr. ******* emailed us as proof for the discrepancies were fraudulent. This causes the need for the statements to come directly from the bank even more important. If Mr. ******* would send us the requested information then we would gladly look into the issue further to try to come up with an agreeable solution.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    [I have spoken with ****** *****n every time that an attempted to contact me and I have complained to her about the site with everytime we talked on the phone. I am providing proof of the discrepancies that UI complained about. The timestamp on the screenshot shows that it was taken 2 days after they send the most recent statement.  They did even update the site until after I filled this complain which was made 3 days after our last phone conversation. They claim of fraudulent documents should be examined since they were included of the original claim filed against them.  They changed up their request each time I would reply which can be seen in the emails provide just like it can be seen the never mention a fraudulent documents until now. ]
