    Purchased tickets in May of this year to rick springfield on August 25 he ended up being cancelled due to rain and lightning requesting refund in total 3 tickets .I was notified I could get tickets for another show for the remainder of the year no one interested in seeing requesting refund or comp 3 tickets for another show in 2024 .never factored in the service fees gave them benefit of the doubt never had issues in the past please help

    To Whom It May Concern,

    We apologize to hear that *** ***** was unhappy with his experience at *** ***; we were also disappointed that the weather did not cooperate with our outdoor venue, which we clearly state it’s an outdoor venue, rain or shine. When the conditions outdoors become unsafe, we must ensure we do the right thing for our guests and the artist for everyone’s safety.
    *** *** policy at our outdoor venue is rain or shine, and there are no refunds for all our events. We are also responsible for paying the artist & acts in full regardless of weather.
     Unfortunately, this summer evening on August 25th, 2023, we had unexpected weather that popped up after our headlining act to the stage. Our headliner, **** ************ performed five songs before his internal management deemed the weather conditions approaching a hazard and ended the show. Before our headliner came on stage, we had two opening acts that evening, **** ***** and ***** ******* they each performed complete sets for the audience.
    While our venue is rain or shine, there are no refunds. This storm came out of nowhere and was canceled by the artist Rick Springfield’s management, not our venue. Due to it being ended per the artist, we wanted to offer our guest something. We decided to reach out to each guest who purchased tickets to provide them with a thank you for attending and 50% off any of our future shows in 2023, as well as anything that may be on sale for 2024 before the year-end in 2023.
    Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience or disappointment this may have caused. It was an unfortunate day with the weather, and we feel that we offered all guests something we were not obligated to do. We hope *** ***** will reconsider our offer and return to a show at The Amp.
