    DO NOT HIRE! Anthony "Tony" M. was a concrete referral from a painting contractor I have used (Eli D.), so I felt secure. Tony showed up to review and provided an email proposal for a small concrete pad ($2500), shed & foundation crack repair. I paid half up front as requested and he sent me a receipt stating I had paid in full (at this time, I had only paid half). He then became very difficult to contact. Not answering texts or phone calls. Eventually he showed-up and tore out the old shed and staked out the pad footprint with 2x4s. I tried to contact him to discuss some concerns regarding the slope and shape of the footprint he staked out. Again, very hard to contact and several dates were missed to pour the concrete pad. Eventually, he showed-up with his crew and the concrete truck was in route. I was leaving town for the weekend so I paid him in full, in advance. I actually passed the concrete truck as I exited the neighborhood. At the same time I was leaving, a nasty storm was developing (high winds and heavy rain) so Tony cancelled pouring the concrete pad. That was a month ago, he is not answering calls/texts. I have retained an attorney and will file a police report. My (bad) experience is consistent with all the others posted here. DO NOT HIRE this individual if you value your $$$ and desire quality work.
