    I hired Schultz Construction to repair the foundation on my house to fix leaking in my basement . They told me that to do the repairs that they would need to destroy my porch so they could dig up the yard around my house to do the repairs, and that after the repairs were completed they would build me a new porch. They told me that I would not have to pay them until the work was completed. They then proceeded to do the work in November 2021, with large gaps of days between when they did the work. Before Christmas in 2021, they had completed 90% of the work and had started building me a new porch. Even though the work was completed they let me know that they needed the money and on December 26th I paid them in full even though the job was not completed and they told me they would return in a week to finish it. They never came back to finish, and my basement still leaks. Besides that, the porch that they started building is not completed, to code and a hazard to anyone using it; and has a giant hole in the side that is filled up with scrap wood that they put there. For 8 months, I have contacted Schultz Construction at their office number ###-###-#### every couple of weeks, and every time they promise me they will be out that week to finish the work they started, and not once have they ever shown up. They took me for tens of thousands of dollars, and in the end have left me high and dry, unlike my leaky basement that they were contracted to fix. It's not fair when companies like Schultz Construction take advantage of senior citizens. I am old and widowed and depended on them to fix my issue, not rip me off.
