      I initially canceled my membership in 2019 due to a kidney transplant and my immunocompromised status knowing I wouldn't be able to return to the gym. Despite this and subsequent in-person cancellations (including one in late 2021 where I signed paperwork), and even canceling the associated debit cards, unauthorized payments have continued to be debited from my routing and account number. I went in for a third time, May 19th, 2025, where I was advised I would be getting a refund of at minimum 6 months and the annual fee in 5-10 business days once a third party vendor (ABC Financial reviewed the request). May 29th, I sent an email complaint, that was responded to once, but never followed back up on. Since then subsequent emails have been sent with no response, no refund, ,nothing......

      These people lie to you to get you signed up them when you ask for the outside supervisor (Josh D*****), he says someone will call you and no one does. Dont waste your money!

      *****, Im sorry to hear that you had a negative experience at the gym. Our regional manager has called you and emailed you back and we have not gotten an answer. Your complaint was that our massage chairs only permit you to use them for 10 minutes at a time. This is the standard set by the manufacturer. We actually could not change this setting even if we wanted to. As was advised by the manager, if no one else is waiting you can go as many minutes as you like by letting us know. No you cannot have members waiting and go 5 more times while they wait. Im not sure what you mean by we lie and get you signed up? Its 1 dollar to join, there is no commitment and the team members arent on commission or under any pressure to sell memberships. Feel free to answer the phone or reply to the two emails sent by our regional manager at your leisure.

      I wanted to reach out and apologize for my previous negative review and actions. I am trying to find a way to have this review removed as my judgement was clouded at the time of posting. My wife and I loved going here, but we let some teenagers really get to us. This led us to quit, and we regret this after being away for a few months. Please if you could find it in your hearts to forgive us it would mean the world to me! In the months I was away I began new treatment for my ptsd which I had no idea at the time was so bad at the time. I have been working extremely hard to get better, and would really love if we could have a chance to return to workout in the mornings and be re-instated. Could you please give me a call to discuss? Thank you!

      I just called in to freeze my membership temporarily because Ive just had surgery and wont be able to use it for a couple of months. They said there is no way to do it over the phone and that I have to come in. AFTER HAVING SURGERY. The fact that they also ask for a doctors note is mind boggling. The manager stated that theres nothing that she could do to override. Instead of freezing, Ill be cancelling and finding a more accommodating gym.

      A membership can be frozen for military orders, for medical reasons or for a student going away to school. It is not required for a member to come in to freeze an account as it can be done by email sending in the military orders, medical reason or school departure.       I made a complaint about an employee only to have my membership cancelled. Apparently this is common. Stay away.

      Today, on 8/15 I was at the gym like normally am (5-6X per week). *******, said she was the ** came over while I was on the treadmill that I needed to put my bag in a locker room, mind you I come to this gym almost everyday and no one has ever approached me due to my bag, (small backpack where I carry, towel, cell, water bottle and gloves). ******* told me to put the bag away, I told her "ok" I continued to finish my workout since I was almost done. ******* came back and told me to take a break and to do it "NOW" that it was "HER GYM" in front of everyone (very unprofessional!). I felt singled out since other members have bags too on the floor. if you have a "policy" enforce it across the board, or don't have it at all.

      We are sorry to hear that your experience wasnt a positive one. It certainly sounds as though this situation could have been handled differently. Planet Fitness does have a policy for not allowing gym bags on the club floor. Very small draw string type bags we do allow. We do have signs posted in the gyms advising of the no gym bag policy.  We apologize that you had a negative experience and will handle the situation internally.

      I have been a member over 10 years. Today I went to work out there 07-14-2023). I went to use a piece of equipment and a guy threatened me and started swearing at me. I asked the staff to do something but was ignored, no action was taken. At some point this individual will assault someone. I will be cancelling my membership and encouraging others to do the same. I t was like they were afraid of the guys roid rage behavior. I called and was told to call back. no response ever came about.
