    I have only lived in KY for five months and purchased a 2007 Prius soon after my arrival. I'm a senior on a very limited income and recently had a very disrespectful wait of 2-hrs. before a "reputable" local repair shop even got their (on-call) hybrid mechanic there to begin diagnosing the problem with my car's heater that was not working! The estimate for fixing it was way too expensive, and I did not want to work with them anyway. Somehow, I found Jake at Working Wrenches via a Google search for Private Mobile Mechanic Services... and Boy! do I feel fortunate! He is punctual, and his vast experience working on vehicles while in the U.S.Navy and learning from his expert mechanic grandfather, has given him great intuition and admirable problem-solving skills. He was wonderfully thorough as he coaxed the air bubbles out of the engine coolant in the final-stage after replacing the coolant flow control valve. Finally, there was HEAT in my car, as the outside temps hovered around 28-degrees! I cannot recommend Jake enough and am sharing his info with all of my new friends here in the Lexington area!

    Jake is a very nice guy. I am so happy with the work he did on my car and the price was very reasonable. I now consider him as my mechanic whenever I need one.. I recommend him 100%.

    Jake has worked on at least 4 of my vehicles now over the past 2 years. His prices are fair but more than that, he is honest and tells you exactly what is wrong and what he would do if it was his vehicle. Having a mechanic you can trust is a big deal as you know, and I have been very impressed with his honesty, speed, pricing, and quality of his work. Darrell T*****
