Hired ***** ****** to fix my 83 yr old aunt’s washing machine. Her name is ***** ***** and lives at **** ****** **** ********** ** *****. On Thursday, 2/6/25, he diagnosed the problem and called to get a price for struts. He said he had to go to Evansville, Indiana to get, but didn’t have the $100+. So my aunt wrote a check paying him in full, $192. He had her remit to his assistant Kelly Anderson, who had a bank in town for cashing. He’d be back the following day. Something came up, so it would be Monday at 11. On Monday, 2/10/25, he said his kids were sick, so it would be the following afternoon. On Tuesday, he was sick to his stomach. I didn’t hear from him again until Thursday, 2/13/25. He said he’d be by that afternoon. On Friday 2/14/25, he said it would be the following Monday at noon. On Monday, 2/17/25, he said his “block froze up on his truck”. On Tuesday morning, ***** said he’d be there “around 2”. On Tuesday, he said he was running behind on other jobs in ******* and would come by the following day “at 11am for sure”. He never showed up and stopped all communication at that point. No repair and no refund.

Paid for Parts to Fix my Washer. GE sent the parts for free. The owner assured me he would refund me the amount I paid for parts and he has since refused to sent a refund. Refund for parts should be $208.56

The owner of this business came to my home on July 14th, 2023. I needed my washer repaired. He looked at the washer and charged me $210. I paid $220 in cash and he gave me $3 in cash back because that is all the cash he had on him. He wrote me a receipt. The total included his labor and the part he needed to order for the washer. He told me he would be back by July 18th to fix it. He never came back. He avoided our calls. He eventually had his girlfriend text us and told us they would get back in touch with us and never did. They texted and said they sent a refund check in the mail on August 4th, 2023- however it never arrived in the mail. I would like our $217 refunded.
